Your best bet would be to install the brake controller, then try both of the blue wires you found, one after the other. Use a circuit tester like # PTW2993 on the pin in the 5:00 position in the 7-way trailer connector. If you have the correct wire, that pin will show power while the manual brake switch on the brake controller is activated. view full answer...
The Furrion RV stereo part # DV1230BL does not come with a trim ring and there isn't a recommended one to use with it as it wasn't designed for one. There are two sections on the top and bottom of the faceplate that come off which normally hide the mounting hardware which is why a trim ring isn't used. view full answer...
For your first question, I did confirm with Hydrastar that you can use your factory Jayco breakaway switch while using the Electric Over Hydraulic Actuator Kit for Disc Brakes # HBA16-252-82. For wiring your OEM switch, one of the wires will go to the battery and one of the wires will go to the yellow wire from the actuator.
As far as the separate battery, the reason why you need a separate battery pack with the breakaway is because it is not recommended to have a battery dedicated only... view full answer...
The Excel RV Tankless Water Heater # EX93FR has to be installed in the upright position per the manufacturer. This unit measures 11-1/4" wide x 14-5/8" tall x 5-1/4" deep overall so just make sure you have this room plus a little room for the connections and hoses on the underside and you'll be good to go! view full answer...
The Furrion Vision S # FOS43TASF can be installed on your 2017 Jayco Hummingbird. You want to install the camera as high up on the rear of your trailer as you can. As long as the camera mount can sit flush and attach securely to the surface, you can mount it onto the rounded surface of your trailer. The vertical measurement of the mounting holes from center-to-center is 15/16" so that should allow the camera mount to sit pretty flat despite the rounded surface. If not, you might need to... view full answer...
The universal nature of the Triple LED Trailer Tail Light # CE44VR would allow it to easily fit your 2019 Jayco Redhawk. This would fit and work well on your motorhome. view full answer...
If you wanted to pull out the pins of the Lippert Entry Assist Handrail part # LC799640 to remove the handle when not in use you certainly could but a better solution might be to test fit the height setting where you install the handle and see if you could mount it in a way that would allow for the clearance you need.
Check out the install video for this for you to check out and see how it installs. view full answer...
What you have is a short between the running light and brake output circuit on your trailer wiring. This is going to be caused by exposed wire on both circuits touching each other. What you'll have to do is start at the trailer connector and work your way back on both circuits fixing any obvious shorts. Also inspect the 7-way for any bent pins or corrosion and fix as needed. view full answer...
The Lippert Ground Control 3.0 Electric 5th Wheel RV Leveling System w Touchpad and Remote - 4-Point Set # LC358590 is designed for 5th wheel trailers with a GVWR up to 15,500 lbs. That being said, there should be no reason you could not install and use this on your 2021 Jayco Redhawk Motorhome as long as you do not exceed the GVWR.
For installation, the rear jacks install on 8", 10", or 12" frames with the included mounting brackets, and the front landing gear uses existing mounting... view full answer...
The Camco Power Grip RV Power Cord Adapter plug # CAM55223 referenced in your question can technically work with up to 30 amps. As long as the connectors mate up properly, you will be able to connect this plug to a 20 amp receptacle without issue.
With that being said, I recommend verifying that this will work for your application, as there are several different connector types depending on the amp rating, so it's very possible that you would not be able to plug this into a 20 amp outlet... view full answer...
Actually, using the # 37220BL tank holder which is purposely designed to hold two 20lb tanks on the trailer tongue would likely be a better option.
The Rhino Rack # RRRGBH4 is designed to mount to a roof rack mounted platform, and does include installation instructions, which I've linked for you. The tank holder is designed to clamp to a slat on the platform that's about 3/4 of an inch thick by 6-1/2 inches wide. I'm assuming you'd mount this to the trailer tongue. In order to do this,... view full answer...
To connect RCA cables # DG52486PB to the back of the iRV RV Stereo # 292-101079 you'll need to remove the 4 mounting screws from the faceplate of the unit. You'll then be able to pull the unit out from the cabinet and plug in your cables and then run them to your tv. view full answer...

If you need to remove one of the cup holder assemblies on your Thomas Payne Momentum Recliner you can do so by first locating the notch on the side of the cup holder that you should be able to feel with your hand. Then it's just a matter of using something like a flathead screwdriver to pop up the cup holder using this notch.
Once the unit is popped up from its recessed opening there will be 2 screws revealed that need to be removed before you can completely detach the cup holder wiring... view full answer...
The Furrion Vision S systems like the 5 inch display version part # FOS05TASF does not have a noticeable delay between the camera and the monitor. It hasn't ever been mentioned as an issue with our customers who have tried it and my parents have the same setup on their RV and they haven't mentioned it either. view full answer...
Since your trailer height and the height of your 2018 Chevy Silverado are within an inch of the original height it sounds like you have the Blue Ox SwayPro # BXW1503 installed correctly.
If you want to try to level it out even more then you can do some slight adjustments but being that close to level you should be just fine! view full answer...
The iRV Digital In-Wall Receiver - Bluetooth - Multi Zone # 292-101079 has the ability to connect with your phone and receive the Bluetooth signal. It does not send a Bluetooth Signal, so it won't connect with your Bluetooth speaker for outside use (just like your phone's speaker won't be able to be used as the receiver of that signal). The iRV receiver is multi-zone so you can set up a zone for outdoor speakers if you desire which is common with many RVs. view full answer...
The spring bars of the Curt weight distribution system part # C17322 do remove when you uninstall the system. You'd lower the bars first and then you'd pull the pins out of the trunnions and slide the bars out. view full answer...
In regards to trailer scissor jacks like Leveling Scissor Jack # JSC-24-IND, these simply need to be bolted to the frame either at the front or the rear. I don't have installation advice on these for any one specific trailer but so long as you don't have anything else on the frame that would be in the way of these jack there should be no issues with mounting.
I have attached a review video for you which goes over the installation in more detail. view full answer...
