Depending on the amount of space between the two MaxxFan Deluxe Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan, Thermostat, and Remote - Powered Lift - 10 Speed - Smoke # MA00-07500K you could potentially have both fans react to the remote. The remote sends out an infrared signal to the sensor in the fan, just like how your tv remote sends a signal to your tv. The only way to prevent both fans from reacting would to have the spaced away from each other and using the remote close to the specific fan you're trying... view full answer...
I have linked the installation instruction below for the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e38KR. You will find the torque settings for the bolts on step 3 for attaching it to your 2023 Hyundai Tucson. I've heard the driver's side wires referred to often as shorter than ideal causing mounting further into the body of the vehicle but never too short to fit. Anywhere you can secure the module is sufficient but you may need to use zip ties instead of the included tape. The manufacturer confirms the fit for all 2010-2019 Tucson models.
Let me know if you need further help, and if so please include pictures of the issue for reference. view full answer...

When our tech team installed Tow Ready wiring harness # 118501 in a 2012 model year Tucson the grommet used for running the wiring through the trunk pan was located near the bottom of the frame rail. See the linked video at the 1:35 mark.
This may differ slightly on your 2016 model year since it is of a different generation of the Tucson. It is sometimes easier to find those grommets from underneath the car. Since we have not yet seen a 2016 Tucson for installation of this harness we... view full answer...
The Curt Upgraded Circuit Protected Powered Tail Light Converter # C59496 will splice into the wiring behind the tail lights on your 2019 Hyundai Tucson. You'll likely need to open the rear hatch of your Tucson to access the area behind the tail lights; there should be some screws that allow you to remove the tail light housing and access the wires you need to splice into. You will also need to run the included heavy gauge wire to the battery and connect via the included ring terminal.... view full answer...
The item you selected, Tow Ready Custom Fit Vehicle Wiring, part # 118501, is designed to protect the vehicle wiring as it draws power directly from the vehicle battery. I cannot recommend attaching the power wire to the vehicle tail light harness as it could possibly overload the circuit and/or damage the vehicle wiring.
You will want to find a rubber grommet on the floor of the rear cargo area. Then remove the grommet and cut a slice in the grommet to feed the power wire through. You... view full answer...
No problem; we can help you correct that minor exhaust rattle from your new Curt hitch # 13526. This issue does come up once in a while and it is not a big deal to fix it. The linked article will guide you through the simple process of slightly moving the exhaust hangers to give you enough hitch-to-exhaust clearance to avoid any rattle.
You are correct that use of rubber or similar material would not be a good idea due to heat. view full answer...
The T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness part # 118812 which is a fit for a 2019 Hyundai Tucson does require a wire to be run to the vehicle's battery for power. The reason for this is because the vehicle's tail light circuits are not rated high enough for the additional amp draw of the trailer lights. Furthermore, this acts as a barrier to protect the vehicle' tail lights if there were ever an issue with the trailer's lights.
In regards to other trailer wiring harnesses that don't require a power... view full answer...
When installing a powered taillight converter like # C89KR, Curt doesn't recommend attaching that 12V power feed to anything other than the positive battery terminal, so I can't recommend anything that would contradict the manufacturer's advice.
Drawing the power directly from the battery serves to isolate the tow vehicle's sensitive electronics from any short circuits that might occur in the trailer wiring. Connecting the converter's power feed anywhere other than the battery or where... view full answer...

Typically, the blue wire on a 6-way connector is used to carry the output voltage from the brake controller.
The 12-volt auxiliary feed, which usually feeds the center pin on the trailer connector can be used to maintain a fully charged battery, but will not have enough amperage to charge a dead battery. view full answer...
Because the manufacturer of a given trailer hitch could change the torque specs we do not publish them on the site. But the instructions we have linked for a hitch, which I have also linked for you here, always have the most up-to-date specs in them. So if you look at step 4 in the linked instructions that is what you are looking for.
I have also included a link to a video showing installation for you.

We get this question commonly and the answer is yes and no. You can run the powerline however you want so long as it gets to the battery on your 2011 Hyundai Tucson. The Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector item # 118501 needs a dedicated 12 volt power source to function correctly. You can not run this harness to an interior fuse box. That will damage the ModuLite and eventually fry your fuses. view full answer...
The 12 volt power on the 7-way is usually rated at 40 amps like you mentioned but it is not always a keyed source. It may or may not turn off when the ignition is off, it just depends on how it is ran. However, if you splice the breakaway battery charge line into the trailer side of the 7-way then the power would stop if the trailer plug is disconnected for the vehicle.
In regards to the daytime running light (DRL) circuit, you can use this for the on/off key but I don't recommend pulling... view full answer...
