The specs I'm seeing for a 2018 Forest River Surveyor 251 RKS show it being over 29' so I first recommend measuring your trailer and ensuring you are choosing the correct sized cover. The Adco SFS Aquashed Cover # 290-52243 is best for moderate climates so you'll want the Adco Polypropylene Cover # 290-74845 instead. It is rated for all climates and the heavy-duty, 4-layer fabric protects against UV rays, dirt, wind, and snow. The slip-seam strap system ensures snug fit and prevents damage... view full answer...
Troubleshooting wiring can be challenging and there are many possible culprits. I would start on the vehicle side by making sure your grounds are firmly secured to a clean metal surface. Next, check your 4-way connector and make sure no debris or corrosion causing problems. After that, check to make sure wires are firmly connected function to function with a circuit tester like Item # PTW2993. If you are still having problems, check the wires and see if any are loose or pinched. If... view full answer...
The MORryde CRE3000 # MR87ZR could work for your trailer but you need to take one more measurement. On your current equalizer measure the distance between the lower bolt hole centers. If that distance is 6-1/2 inches or pretty close to that this will work great for you. It's very likely this will work for you and your longer shackle straps are the reason for the difference in wheelbase. view full answer...
For your 2017 Forest River Surveyor 251RKS that is prewired for a backup camera the kit you'd want is the part # FOS43TASF since it comes with the style of mount that your vehicle is designed to work with. There are videos on how to do this install on YouTube but we have not had the chance yet so I don't have a video I can send you from our site. view full answer...
To replace your Tru-Ryde RVD-H-545 hub and drum assembly you need the Easy Grease Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly for 3.5K Axles # AKHD-545-35-EZ-K. This isn't the exact same brand but all of the bearings and seals match so it will be a direct replacement for what you have. view full answer...
Installing the Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension System on your trailer is a great idea. I recommend sticking with a 3,500 pound system to match what you currently have. While the axle is typically the primary factor when it comes to determining a trailer's overall capacity, it is not the only component that contributes to its limit. The hubs, wheels, frame itself, etc will all work to establish the trailer's listed limits. This simply means that replacing the 3,500 pound axles on your... view full answer...

The Go Power Portable Solar Panel with Digital Solar Controller, # 34282729 is equipped with a 10 amp ATC fuse. As inexpensive and easily acquired these fuses are, I would recommend having one on hand in case it is needed. If you are boondocking and blow a fuse, best to be prepared. view full answer...
The closest manual to power conversion kit that we have to your 73" arms is the Solera Smart Arm 12V Power RV Awning Conversion Kit # LC759405 (for white) or # LC759517 (for black) which are 69".
We have contacted the manufacturer in the past regarding your particular model information and it appears you might have an older design. With that being said there are a couple of things you can quickly check on your current awning to verify if this will work for you.
First make sure that your... view full answer...
Yes, those springs would be good replacements for your existing 3,500 lbs springs. In order to get an accurate measurement out of your current leaf springs you will need to jack your trailer up and let the suspension flex. Once you get all the weight off of one side of the trailer you will want to measure your springs from eye hole to eye hole. I have linked a diagram below that will show you the measurements you will need.

For your 2016 Forest River Surveyor I am going to recommend the Reese Strait-Line Weight Distribution System # RP66084. As you did not list your exact model I checked the models with your dry weight and I believe that you either have a 285IKDS(713lbs tongue weight) or 32RKDS(849lbs tongue weight). The tongue weight is the important number to consider when selecting your weight distribution hitch. The Reese Straight-Line that I recommend is compatible with tongue weights from 700-1200lbs.... view full answer...
Weight distribution systems are recommended based on tongue weight which is typically 10% - 15% of the trailer's total weight. This would put your tongue weight somewhere between 800 lbs and 1,200 lbs. 777 lbs seems awful low but I have a system that will cover that entire range for your Surveyor 295QBLE travel trailer. I recommend the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System w/ 4-Point Sway Control item # EQ37120ET.
This system has built in 4-point sway control that will keep your trailer... view full answer...
Per Dexter Axle, the bolt holes of their # K71-724-02 Torflex Axle Lift Kit are right at 9 inches apart on center. The # K71-707-02 would be better choice as the holes are right at 8 inches, if the 1/4 inch less lift would work for you.
The # K71-707-02 kit is compatible with #10 Torflex axles with 2,300 to 4,000-lb capacities. view full answer...

The only way to fix that kind of leak is by replacing the Flow Max RV Kitchen Faucet # LC719323. I actually just went through this same scenario at my place and the plumber had to replace the entire faucet because it is something that is internal. Since there are no spare parts for this faucet, replacement of the entire unit is the only option.
This does come with a 1-year warranty so if you're within that year I definitely recommend reaching out to whoever you purchase this from. view full answer...
It is possible to connect the Goal Zero Boulder 200 Briefcase Solar Panel # 287-32409 to your 2018 Forest River Surveyor Travel Trailer. I spoke to a contact and he said you would need a 20 amp Charge Controller to regulate the solar input to the battery. He also said you would need a Furrion plug with bare wire negative and positive wires to connect to the solar panel.
You will not be able to run the refrigerator or other appliances, it is used to charge your battery. view full answer...
Since your doorway is 24 inches wide and the threshold is 31-1/2 inches from the ground the correct Lippert SolidStep is the part # LC698799 which is a triple step. A four step version of this would be too tall to fit properly so the triple step is the way to go. view full answer...
For a protective cover for your roof vents I recommend the MaxxAir II RV and Trailer Roof Vent Cover w/ EZClip - Black # MA86JR. This is cover uses a high-density polyethylene construction that is UV resistant and will also protect your roof vent from rain and other debris.
If you have a MaxxFan this is a no drill installation but it can be used on other vents as well with some drilling. This cover also uses EZClip pins which allow you to easily open or remove the cover for maintenance.... view full answer...
The single step RV steps do have smaller mounting dimensions so if you are wanting to go with a double step to replace what you have what you'd need is the Lippert Manual Pull-Out Steps # LC432682 which is a double step that has a foot plate that provides solid traction. Since the mounting brackets of your RV are going to be too small you'll need outriggers too to go with this as part # LC301704 and you'll be set. view full answer...
