Great question. The base dry hitch weighing 900 lbs is a factor, but you will most definitely want the Curt TruTrack Weight Distribution System w/ Sway Control # C17501 for this application. The reasoning is that you need to account for loaded weight on the tongue of your hitch which will not only include the loaded cargo of your trailer, but it also accounts for any weight behind the rear axle of your towing vehicle.
If you went with the 1000 lb max capacity # C17500, then you would... view full answer...

Thanks for the picture of your landing gear! From that I can tell you have a powered Lippert Landing Gear Set and the part # LG-1 would be a great replacement that would match up exactly. view full answer...
We have 6,000 lb trailer leaf springs that are 25-1/4 inches long with the part # e34SR which would be exactly what you are looking for.
The closest equalizer we have to what you need is the part # TREQ356 which measures 6-1/8 inches from bolt hole to hole front to back and vertically is 2-1/2 inches. If you replaced all or your equalizers with this it would fit and work well. view full answer...

The Custom Third Brake Light Camera for 4.2" Factory Monitor - Night Vision # 3460025 is the only system we have that allows the switch to let you select the camera feed on that monitor. I recommend using the Rear View Safety Trailer Tow Quick Connect Kit For Backup Camera Systems # RVS-213-613 and then the Rear View Safety Adapter Cord - 5 Pin Male to RCA Male # RVS-RCA5-AM. This will let you flip the switch to toggle between a factory backup camera on the truck and the camera at the... view full answer...
I sent this info to Trailair to help identify what you have and they informed me that you have a Rota Flex pin box that was designed to fit as a Lippert 1621 replacement. Replacement parts are not available for this style of pin box since it's now discontinued but we do have the upgraded version of what you have with the Trailair Flex Air part # LC328492. This has a similar front to back cushioning as your Rota Flex but also has a vertical cushioning setup with an air bag and shock which... view full answer...
The Voyager brake controller # 39510 that you have currently is not compatible with electric over hydraulic trailer brakes like you have, but the Prodigy P2 part # 90885 that you referenced is so it would be a great time to replace what you have now with the P2. Once this is installed and you set the controller into hydraulic mode you'd be ready to tow your trailer that has electric over hydraulic brakes. view full answer...
For a trailer hitch that will fit your 2017 Forest River Cardinal 5th Wheel Trailer and will work with the Kuat Transfer V2 Bike Rack for 2 Bikes # KU84FR, I recommend using the Trailer Hitch Receiver for RVs part # 13703. This trailer hitch is the most popular we have for you by far because it fits so many different Rvs and it is very easy to install compared to some of the others. It has a 350 lb tongue weight capacity which will be plenty for your Transfer V2 and Electra Path Townie/Trek... view full answer...
I have some really great options for complete landing gear sets to use on a Forest River Cardinal Fifth Wheel, the Landing Gear Set with Handle part # RVLG-8HDL for example is super cost effective and it comes with everything you need. In regards to fit, it should work but I do recommend checking that the weld stops on your existing landing gear legs are 15-1/2' apart inside to inside. view full answer...
While we do not have a 64" cargo carrier, We have a really great option in a 24x60 carrier for your 2012 Phoenix Cruiser. I suggest the etrailer Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches, # e98874. This is a hitch-mounted, basket-style cargo carrier lets you carry gear on the back of your vehicle using your 2" x 2" trailer hitch receiver. view full answer...
With a Load E tire like the Karrier part # AM10303 you would have a tire capacity of 2,830 lb which based on your correct match would put you a little under the max weight capacity of your trailer. That doesn't mean you are necessarily overloading the tires though as there's a very good chance your trailer isn't at it's max weight capacity. view full answer...
It seems like it wouldn't be a terrible idea to go with a higher rated leaf spring on your trailer. To pick that out that I would need to know the length of your current spring unless you were willing to move hangers which your mechanic might be open to. The only higher rated spring we have than 7k is the 8k part # DX74XR which is 24-7/8 inches long.
The correct MORryde SRE4000 would depend on the wheelbase of your trailer. We have the # MR47ZR which is for 35 inch wheelbases and part... view full answer...
I really wish there was a way to determine what bearings a trailer needed without actually pulling the wheel off and checking, but there isn't. The only two solution I have for you would be to remove the hubs and get the numbers that are stamped on the bearing or for you to remove the hubs and use a digital or dial caliper to measure where the bearings and seal ride (see pic).
With that info I can help you figure out what you need. view full answer...
Water heater latches like the Camco RV Water Heater Latches part # CAM09213 are universal. This kit will work for what you have on your Forest River. view full answer...
With your camper running about 10 inches lower in the back, you have the tongue of your trailer riding too high for level. Not knowing if you have a travel trailer or a 5th wheel, I'll give you both solutions.
If you have a travel trailer, you can get a ball mount with a deeper drop. I've attached an article to help you with the ball mount hitch height based on your vehicle and the trailer coupler height. You may want to consider using an adjustable mount to adjust the tongue down... view full answer...
Your trailer is a tandem axle trailer so you'd need each tire to have a capacity of 4,108 lb. So for a tire in your size of ST235/80R16 we have the part # TTWPRG235R16 which is a Load Range of G and has capacity of 4,400-lb max load at 110 psi. Load Range E would not be enough. view full answer...
