Replacement Brake Controller Recommendation for Tekonsha Voyager that is Hydraulic Brake Compatible

i have a tekonsha voyager xp controller in my truck. I am trying to buy a 2017 cardenial with hydraulic brakes. what do i need to make the brakes work.?

The Voyager brake controller # 39510 that you have currently is not compatible with electric over hydraulic trailer brakes like you have, but the Prodigy P2 part # 90885 that you referenced is so it would be a great time to replace what you have now with the P2. Once this is installed and you set the controller into hydraulic mode you'd be ready to tow your trailer that has electric over hydraulic brakes.
