  • Will the Stay-IN-Play Work On a 2004 Pontiac Vibe With Brake Booster Behind Firewall
  • The Demco SBS Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System part # SM99251 is a great option for a 2004 Pontiac Vibe. It is not something we have installed on this exact vehicle but there are many instances which I have run into personally where the brake booster is directly behind the firewall where the brake pedal is. The standard practice we use when this is an issue is to drill a small pilot hole through the firewall then run a small wire though this to see how much room is there before...

  • Adding Tow Bar Wiring to 2018 Toyota Camry Being Towed on a Dolly
  • You can add lights to your Camry that is on a tow dolly, but there isn't a conversion kit or anything of the sort. The only thing that you can do is add tow bar wiring such as the Roadmaster Universal Hy-Power Diode Wiring Kit # RM-152, cutting off the 4-way from the tow dolly and connecting all of the wires inside a junction box like # 38656. I have added links below to some video reviews of these parts for you to check out as well if you'd like.

  • How Is the 24x84 etrailer Cargo Carrier for RV Bumper Secured While Folded Up
  • The 24x84 etrailer Cargo Carrier for RV Bumper part # e96ZR can be secured in the folded up position. There are two standoff brackets on top of the bumper brackets which will line up with the vertical supports on the side rails of the carrier. They will actually drop into the slot between the standoffs and then are locked into place with the pins. I have attached a photo which shows this.

  • Which Roof Membrane and How to Install on 19 Foot Cargo Trailer
  • If your cargo trailer has a roof membrane like the one shown in the video you referenced, then yes; you will want to use the LaSalle Bristol RV Roof Replacement Kit w/ XTRM Membrane - 21' Long # 344270KIT21. The video is a great example of how this is completed and can be used as a general guide when doing the repairs yourself. I've linked that video to this answer for you to find it easily when you're ready to do the repairs.

  • Can the CE Smith Post-Style Guide Ons Withstand Being Bumped Into By the Boat
  • The CE Smith Post-Style Guide-Ons for Boat Trailers - 40" Tall - White - 1 Pair # CE27620 are made from durable 1-1/2" diameter steel posts, and while they're not designed to hold weight they were crafted with the potential for this in mind. You won't have any issues with the boat bumping or pushing up against them while you load it on the trailer. I've linked a review video of these for you to check out, as well.

  • Location of Brake Controller Port, Brake Controller and Wiring Harness for 1999 Ford F-150
  • The installation instructions for the custom brake controller adapter # 3035-P indicate that the brake controller port is under the dash, near the center of the console. The port will have a 6-pin connector that will mate with the one on the adapter at the end of the harness. I have attached a photo of the harness end connector for you to compare to the fitting you have found in your truck. If you do not already have a brake controller, I recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Trailer Brake...

  • Can the 3020-P Harness be Used to Install a Brake Controller in a 2004 Dodge Ram
  • You can use the install harness part # 3020-P to install a brake controller in your 2004 Dodge Ram. You would need to cut off the end that would plug into the brake controller and then hardwire those wires to the controller instead. This way you will be able to still use your current brake controller.

  • What is the Maximum Amperage Rating for Bulldog Winch Wireless Controller BDW20099
  • Bulldog Winch Wirelesss Controller # BDW20099 is designed for 2,000 and 3,000 pound ATV winches with off-center drums. These winches draw up to 120 to 130 amps at full load. So you would not want to go over 130 amp draw for this unit.

  • Should the Titan Electric Over Hydraulic Actuator Run Continuously if the Breakaway Pin is Pulled
  • If the breakaway pin is pulled then the electric over hydraulic actuator, such as # T4813102, will pump fluid back to the brakes to stop the trailer. The pressure would already have been built up in a real-world scenario. But if you pull the pin the unit will run continuously until either it is shut down manually (by inserting the breakaway pin or key in the switch) or the battery runs out of power (note: the unit should not be run dry for more than 10 seconds). This is explained in the...

  • How to Change the Lock Core on a RockyMounts Bike Rack
  • Like you said, there isn't a master key for the RockyMounts lock cores. In order to change out a lock core you will need access to the back of the lock. Then with a small flat blade screwdriver or a knife you can press down on the pin that holds the lock in the housing and then push it out of the front. In the video I made, it is a Rhino-Rack part but the process is the same.

  • Installation Videos & Instructions for ETBC7 Brake Controller Installation Kit
  • We have produced many different videos for the # ETBC7 brake controller installation kit. While we do not happen to have one showing your specific 1999 Chevrolet Blazer 2-door rear-wheel-drive version the overall process will be essentially the same on any vehicle. For reference I have linked two videos showing a 2001 Silverado and a 1993 Suburban as examples. I also linked you to an article that covers the complete ETBC7 installation process. Between the two videos and the article you...

  • Installing a 7-Way Trailer Connector and Brake Controller on 2007 Hummer H3
  • Typically, the brake signal wire and 12V power wire should be in the same bundle of wires where you found the turn signal wires, ground, and running light wires. They may not be blue and black in color, but you can use a circuit tester, # PTW2993, to test for the functions of the wires. You can also use the circuit tester to test the functions of the bundle of wires you found under the dash for the brake controller. Another place the 12V power and brake signal wires may be located is along...

  • Brake Controller Installation on a 1999 Chevy C3500 Pickup Truck
  • On a 1999 Chevy C3500 there will NOT be a brake controller port to plug in a brake controller. The brake controller has to be hardwired into the truck. Chevy did not start putting in a port until they switched the trucks from C or K to Silverado. Prior to that Silverado was just a trim option. I have included a link to a video that will help. It shows installation on a 1996 C/K series truck. Installation will be basically identical on your 1999 model. If your truck already has a 7-Way...

  • Where Does a Trailer Wiring Harness Install on a 2001 Isuzu Tropper
  • Trailer wiring harness # C55339 installs in a factory wiring harness located on the driver's side of the back of your 2001 Isuzu Trooper. The factory harness should be attached to a grommet between the rear wheel well and the bumper on the exterior of the vehicle. It appears that it also could be near or above an exhaust pipe. Since the vehicle is over 15 years old it is possible that the location is covered with road grime and/or is otherwise difficult to see. It may be easier to find...

  • Where Does a Brake Controller Plug Into on a 1999 Ford F-150
  • On your 1999 Ford F-150 with factory 4-Way flat, the brake controller port is located under the dash close to the center console. It is near the OBDII diagnostic port. I have included a link to a video showing installation of a brake controller that shows this location. Your truck uses harness # 3035-P and not # 3034-P. You will also need to add a 7-Way connector. For that I recommend # 118242 which also includes the relays and fuses to make the harness functional. You might want to check...

  • Where Does a Brake Controller Plug Into on a 2013 Toyota Tacoma
  • For your 2013 Toyota Tacoma and a Tekonsha brake controller the correct brake controller wiring harness is # 3040-P. In plugs into a plug on the truck located under the dash to the left of the emergency brake pedal. Some times the factory plug can fall behind the driver's side kick panel or be tucked up higher and attached to another wire bundle. I have included a link to a video that shows the general area it is located. It is on a 2012 Tacoma which will be the same as on a 2013. If...

  • Bracket to Install Fulton XLT Jack on Mastercraft Boat Trailer
  • The Fulton jack part # F141132 that you referenced is a really great jack that I know you'll be happy with, but it requires the bracket part # P9012-00 to mount to a trailer which isn't the same as what you have now. So your best option is to remove the bracket you have now and install the # P9012-00 and you'd be set. You'd need to find a local welder to have them cut off the old bracket and install the new one. It would be a super painless install for them too.

  • 2015 Nissan Titan Brake Controller Installation via Hardwire
  • I have a solution for you but I was unable to find any wiring diagrams that specify which wires are which on the 2015 Nissan Titan. Because of this, you'll need to manually trace and test each wire to determine which wire controls which function. In order to test each wire, you can use a circuit tester similar to # PTW2992 and check the factory harness to determine which wire is the power and which wire gives a signal when the brake is pressed- the ground and Brake Controller Output won't...

  • How to Flash Vehicle for Aftermarket Brake Controller Installation
  • When we mention having the vehicle flashed when an aftermarket brake controller is installed, like the Prodigy P2 # 90885, it basically means you need to take the vehicle to your nearest dealer and have them reset some settings on your vehicle's computer. Generally telling it to read an aftermarket brake controller instead of an OEM option or activating a tow package. Jeeps are pretty notorious for needing this done but it can sometimes need to be done on other vehicles. It's just a matter...
