Out of the cable chains that fit the 215/55-17 size tire on your 2014 Chevy Volt I recommend the Titan Chain part # TC335DC because it has a diagonal design which will give you better traction than a ladder version like part # PW1038. Yes your 2017 Chevy Volt can be towed on a tow dolly. The dolly I recommend is the Demco part # DM9713045 as it comes with a self-contained braking system, a steering axle, and is foldable for easier storage.
