That's a good question because the differences can certainly be subtle. The 2" trailer hitches that fit your 2019 Mazda CX-5 are the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver # 76138, etrailer.com Trailer Hitch Receiver # e98902, and Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13315.
The most significant difference between the three hitches is going to be ground clearance, as both the Curt and etrailer hitches will measure about 13-1/4" from the ground while the Draw-Tite is about 12-1/2". And while this may... view full answer...
Both the Tekonsha T-One # 118781 and Curt T-Connector # C56382 are custom trailer wiring harnesses confirmed to fit your 2019 Honda Odyssey, but I do recommend the Tekonsha # 118781 for a couple reasons.
First, the Tekonsha harness does feature a higher amp rating (max 5 amps for stop/turn circuits and 7.5 amps for tail lights compared to 3 amps and 6 amps respectively on the Curt), which just offers a stronger system that's able to take a bit more power.
In addition to the higher amp... view full answer...
I highly recommend using the Curt Trailer Hitch # CU29FR and either the 4-Way T-One # 118761 with mounting bracket # 18144 or the 7-Way T-One # 118287 with mounting bracket # PK12711U over the GM tow package for your 2020 Chevy Traverse. Sometimes the factory tow package will include specific things like an additional transmission cooler but from what I could find GM doesn't say that the towing weight ratings for your Traverse are dependent upon their tow package or not. There are definitely a lot of different types of weight distribution hitch and they will each offer their own benefits and short comings. Some decisions are based on price point, some just want the best. One thing I have noticed is a lot of decisions are based on previous use experience or what they know to be a solid product.
The Fastway e2 Weight Distribution # FA94-00-0800 does use a friction type sway control that some, myself included prefer to use. This physically is reducing sway... view full answer...
Both Pro Series cargo carriers can handle the 270 pound snow blower. The difference is that # 63153 is 24x60 inches rated for 500 pounds and meant for use in a 2 inch hitch receiver. The # 63155 is 20x47 inches rated for 300 pounds and is meant for use in a Class I or II hitch with a 1-1/4 inch receiver. The weight of the carrier and the snow blower can't exceed the tongue weight capacity of the hitch. This information will be printed on a sticker affixed to the hitch.

We have a rack for you!
The Erickson Truck Bed Ladder Rack for the 2020 Toyota Tundra, part # EM07705, is not adjustable. However, another one is.
It's the Yakima OverHaul HD Truck Bed Rack, part # Y01151-5968. It can sit above your bed rails anywhere between 19" and 30", giving a range of difference if you choose to go this route. I've linked to a video review of this system for you to look at. view full answer...
I definitely see where you are coming from in regards to pricing vs the larger hitch receiver for your 2019 Volkswagen Golf Alltrack. There are quite a few bike racks that are compatible with the Draw-Tite # 24949 and Curt # C11422 1-1/4" hitch receivers but you can use a lot more accessories with the EcoHitch # 306-X7315. Whenever the 2" option is available for a vehicle we recommend going with it because your short term plan is using it for a bike rack, but the larger receiver will come... view full answer...
The 7,500 lb air bag kit I highly recommend for your 2019 GMC Sierra 3500 two-wheel drive are the Firestone Ride-Rite Red Label Extreme Duty Air Helper Springs # F2709 because of the superior construction of the bags compared to the Air Lift LoadLifter 7500 XL Air Helper Springs # AL57538.
The reason the Firestone air bags are higher in quality than the Air Lift is because the Firestone bags are constructed with four layers of rubber which is reinforced, while the Air Lift bags are a double-ply... view full answer...
While the Prodigy P2 # 90185 and P3 # 90195 brake controllers are both extremely reliable, the P3 has a couple of extra features that, in my opinion, make it more user friendly.
The way the P3 displays information is through actual words on the LCD display, which are much easier to read and understand than on the P2, which uses a number of codes. So, unless you have an amazing memory, you'd have to pull out your manual to see what each code represents.
Another feature that sets the P3... view full answer...
Excellent question! The immediate difference is that some of the trailer hitches have a 1-1/4" receiver while others have a 2" receiver. We always recommend going with the larger 2" receiver because more accessories are compatible with it.
All of the available 2" trailer hitches (linked below) exceed the weight capacity for your 2019 Subaru Outback Wagon so it really just boils down to style and brand. Some of the trailer hitches, Draw-Tite # 75673, Curt # C13206, and etrailer # e98847... view full answer...
The only difference between the Bargman 7-Way, RV-Style Connector w/ 6' Heavy Duty Insulated Cable - Trailer End # 54006-057 and the 7-Way Molded Trailer End with 6' Cable - HD Blue Insulated # 54006-009 is the color coding of the wire inside. The functions of the wires are the exact same so you wouldn't need to use an adapter to go from one style to the other. It would be just a matter of matching the wires by function if needed and not by color.
I've attached the photos of each color... view full answer...
Curt actually makes the etrailer.com hitches like the part # e98908 that you referenced which is why it's basically identical to the Curt # C13309 that fits your 2018 Nissan Pathfinder. It is a somewhat new hitch line we started offering but not brand new. This means that the install video for the Curt (attached to this page) would cover the install of the # e98908 as well.
The hands free liftgate of your Pathfinder will still work but you just would have to kick your foot to either side... view full answer...
I would be happy to help you find a Gooseneck pin box for your 2014 Grand Design Reflection 337RLS. I recommend going with the Gen-Y Hitch Shock Absorbing 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Pin Box item # GY66FR over the Reese Goose Box 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Air Ride Coupler Adapter item # RP85FR.
The Gen-Y has a shock-absorbing pin box that works without having to rely on airbags like the Reese. The shock-absorbing design functions like a torsion axle to limit transfer of road shock from trailer... view full answer...
For your 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe, I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C34ER. This hitch is our highest rated hitch for your vehicle, capable of withstanding a maximum towing capacity of 4,000-lbs, and a maximum tongue weight of 600-lbs.
I also recommend installing wiring # CU94FR as well. This harness will provide lights to your trailer while towing, and is required by law for trailer's to have lights while traveling down the road.
If you want to complete the towing setup, you're... view full answer...
As we haven't had the chance to install either the Curt # C77ER or the Draw-Tite # DT92MR on a 2021 Mustang Mach-E, I went out and measured from the center of the first bolt hole to the end of the receiver opening on both hitches. The Curt will sit out a little further out at 14-1/4", and the Draw-Tite will be 13".
With that said, I do agree that the Draw-Tite # DT92MR will be the better option due to it having a higher capacity and sticking out less than the Curt option. However, I do... view full answer...
The difference is that the Blue Ox Swaypro part # BXW2000 is for standard couplers on trailer frames that attach to the top of the trailer frame and the # BXW2003 is for underslung couplers which attach to the bottom of the frame. Now the specific difference between the kits is that the angle of the head is slightly different where it holds the ball. view full answer...
There is no difference between the two. Part # CSS-1195 can be used as either front or rear springs depending on the vehicle, and for your 2006 Toyota Sienna they are for the rear springs and as such are classified as # CSS-1195R. view full answer...
A 7-way (female) vehicle socket like # PK12-707E has a single blade contact; these fit in between the dual contact surfaces in a (male) trailer plug like # 54006-059, # 277-000143 or # A10-7W10 and the connector (type BB) shown in your photo.
Some 7-way male plugs will use a single blade contact, such as the plug on Hopkins 7-way extension # HM20049. This item's female socket and male plug happen to both use the single contact. Both types are compatible with each other.

The Trailair Flex Air 5th Wheel Pin Box part # LC369535 which is rated for 21,000 lbs is constructed of a thicker metal and also has beefier welds when compared to the Trailair Flex Air 5th Wheel Pin Box part # LC328492 which is rated for 18,000 lbs. The air bag and shock that is used in each of them are the same. The thicker metal and welds are what gives the former a higher weight capacity. The Curt hitch part # C13381 and etrailer hitch part # e43ZR are very similar as they are both made by same company with the only real difference being that the etrailer hitch has a matte finish and the Curt has a gloss finish.
It's a pretty subtle difference but matte will be a little less noticeable and should hide scratches and scuffs better.
The ground clearance dimension between the two should be identical. I am not sure how two different numbers were come up with unless there... view full answer...
