Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a brief look together at this Phoenix USA steel truck or trailer underbody toolbox. Now this toolbox is going to mount to the underbody of your truck or trailer to help save space and give you secure storage for your gear. I do wanna point out right at the offset here that no mounting brackets are included with this, you're simply going to get the box and some keys. So if you do not already have the brackets that you need to install this, you can find them here at etrailer.com.

But this is going to be great for flatbed trucks, dump trucks, or trailers. And let me go ahead and just give you some overall dimensions so you can be confident whether or not this is going to work for you. So taking a look at our length first, measuring end to end, we're sitting right at 30 inches long. Line that up there for you again so you can see. So 30 inches long.

And then looking at the depth, looks like we're sitting right at 12 inches deep. And then looking at the height, 14 inches tall. Now we do also carry two other sizes. And so on your screen I am including the model numbers. The one at top is what I would consider to be the medium sized one.

So you see that one there at the top of the graphic and then the bottom one is going to be the smaller one. So I believe the top one has a capacity of 2.3 cubic feet, and that bottom one I believe is 1.75 cubic feet. But if you wanna check out those other options, just take that item number that you see there on your screen, pop it in the search field of our website, that will take you to those other sizes if you think that this box might be too large for you. Speaking of capacity, this does have a capacity of 2.9 cubic feet. The box itself weighs right under 40 pounds, obviously when it's empty.

And this flush door is going to give you easy access to cargo. The locking flush mounted tee handle is going to keep your gear safe and secure. As I mentioned, two keys are included. And to open this, you're just going to lift this T handle and then just turn it either way, and then that's going to allow you to bring that door down. And so as I mentioned, 2.9 cubic feet capacity on the inside there. Hopefully you have a pretty good view of that even though it's a little bit dark in there. And you do have a a pretty good sized opening there to get your gear in. I did want to point out that this does have a really nice weatherproof seal that goes around the entire perimeter of the opening of this box. So that's going to do a great job of protecting your stuff from the elements, you're not gonna have to worry about water or moisture getting in there 'cause that seal very thick. So I think it's gonna do a great job of protecting your gear. And then we also have a stainless steel piano hinge that's going to keep this door from opening up all the way and dropping down, so it's going to keep it right at about 90 degrees or so. So really easy access. And then just to show you how to lock this, you'll bring your door back up and then you'll just turn that to the center. And then I'm just gonna insert one of the keys here, give that a turn, and then that's going to lock that T handle, then you'll push it down. I like the fact that that handle isn't sticking up so you're not gonna get something caught on there if you're walking by there or anything. And then when you're ready to unlock it, just let that T handle up. That's going to expose the lock, the key hole there. Gonna insert one of the keys, turn it, and then that's going to allow me to then turn that T-handle and open up the door. So very easy to use, very secure. This is constructed of heavy duty steel with a black powder coat finish that's going to resist rust and corrosion. I think it's gonna hold up really well for you. Obviously you saw the front of our door is a chrome finish, so it's almost like a mirror here. So if that's a feature or a style that you're looking for and this meets the specs that you're looking for, this is really gonna be a great option for you to consider.
