These 1,000-lb capacity truck bed rail tie down anchors stay out of sight and out of the way when you don't need them and snap up when you want to haul. They give tie downs a better angle of pull than factory anchors and are easier to reach.
Features:
Specs:
If you have pop-out rail caps you can install the anchors in seconds. All you have to do is pop the caps off using a flat head screwdriver, insert the anchors into the stake pockets, and tighten them down with a Phillips head screwdriver.
If you have truck bed rails with hidden stake pockets that don't have pop-out rail caps, a router and a drill with a 1/2" bit (not included) are required to install the anchors.
The router bit (sold separately) lets you perfectly trim the caps without damaging your truck bed. To install the anchors, drill a 1/2" hole in the center of each rail cap and use the router to make the cuts. The router bit has 4 roller bearings that guide the router around the inner steel pocket to prevent overcutting the surface of your bedrails. Cut around each perimeter several times so that all the plastic residue resulting from the cuts gets trimmed away. Once the caps have been trimmed you can install the anchors.
If you have rear stake pockets with an inner plastic shaft, use a router with the rotary pocket saw bit (sold separately) to remove it.

Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this bull ring retractable truck bed stake pocket tie down anchor set. This set is going to provide these heavy duty anchors that will install in the stake pockets on top of your truck's bed rails and then provide the tie down points to secure your load. Being up on your truck's beds rails, they are going to be much easier for you to reach than the factory anchor points inside the bed. So it's gonna be much easier for you to get your S-hooks or J-hooks connected onto them.
Now, these are designed specifically for your 1995 and newer Dodge Ram. So they are going to fit into your Dodge Ram's stake pockets. You are going to get six of these anchors with this set. So it is going to allow you to install anchors into the front, middle, and rear stake pockets of your eight foot bed. If you don't have an eight foot bed or you're not wanting to put anchors in all of your stake pockets, we do have a four pack available instead as well as a two pack if you're only wanting to have a couple of anchors in your bed.
We've got you covered with those other options there. These do have a durable stainless steel ring. That's going to make it very easy for you to get your S-hooks and J-hooks connected in place. They are going to give you a 1000 pound weight capacity, and you can see we've got a polished stainless steel plate for a nice classic look there. So stainless steel on both components gonna give us a nice classic look and resist rust and corrosion.
These are a flush fit so they are going to sit level with the rail camp. So it's going to allow these to be compatible with most tonneau covers. At the bottom we've got glass reinforced nylon. That's gonna help dampen the sound. And these are very easy to use when you're ready to use them.
You just pull 'em up. They'll lock in place there. And then when you're ready to be done, just snap 'em back in place. They'll retract down. Using gravity, pull them down, so you have more of a flush out of sight look to them. So to get these installed, it's gonna be a pretty simple process. If you have a 2009 and newer model, it is gonna require a little bit of trimming of your rail cap for proper installation. I do recommend using the two tools that you see on the screen there to make that trimming process a little bit easier, but once you have that, those pockets opened up, it's very simple. You'll just remove the screws from the anchor. You'll give you some wiggle room there so that you can maneuver this down into your opening, and then you'll just pull up on the anchor there. That's going to allow this portion to get pulled up against your truck's sheet metal. It's gonna give you a nice firm attachment there. And once you have that pulled up, you can just reinstall those screws and it'll allow you to operate like normal. So, very simple to get these installed and then have that sturdy connection to your truck's bed. Now these do come with a lifetime warranty, so if you we're to have any issues with them, you're more than welcome to reach out to us here @etrailer.com. But overall, I think these are gonna be a really great way of giving you easier access to a tie down point for your truck. That completes our look for today. Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Thanks for watching..
