Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com, and today we're gonna take a look at these BullRing Raised Fit Retractable Tie-Down Anchors for truck bed stake pockets. These heavy duty anchors are going to attach to your truck bed stake pockets. and provide tie-down points to secure your load. We're gonna work with S hook and J hook connections, and these are custom fit anchors that are going to fit various years and versions of the Ford F series, the Dodge Ram pickups, the GMC Sierra, and the Chevrolet Silverado. Now, while your factory anchor points are inside your bed where it can be hard to reach, these retractable anchor points are going to install in your stake pockets on top of your bed rails. And to use them, it's gonna be a very simple operation. You simply pop the anchor ring up when you want to use it to secure your load and then push it down firmly, and it will be sitting flush within the anchor's body when you don't need it. So again, let me show you how easy this is. Once you have these installed, you just pull up on the ring firmly.

You hear that click and that ring is going to be ready for you to use, to attach your strap. And this is going to be securely in position, so you're not gonna have to worry about this ring accidentally sliding down. And then when you're done using this ring and you want that ring out of your way just push it down and then it will be out of your way and flush with the body itself. So very easy to use, very convenient, and this raised fit is going to sit just above your bed rail. Now, these anchors have a weight capacity of a thousand pounds and they are constructed of stainless steel, so that's gonna resist rust and corrosion.

And the nylon lower body is going to reduce sound. These are going to match the grain for the most part and the color of your bed rails, giving you that factory look. And installation is quick and easy. And for the most part, it's going to require nothing more than a Phillips head screwdriver. So to install these, you will want to remove any plastic cap that covers your stake pocket.

And if you have a 2009 to 2019 Ram truck, you are going to need to trim the rail cap for proper installation. So to make that trimming job easier for you, I would recommend checking out the BullRing Rail Cap Router Bit. And on your screen, I have our item number to that router bit. That's gonna make your trimming job on your 2009 to 2019 Ram a little bit easier. So just take that item number, put it in the search field of our website here at etrailer.com, and it will take you to that router bit. So then after you remove the cap and have done any trimming, if you need to do any trimming, you'll wanna take your Phillips head screwdriver and loosen the screws. The two screws here from the anchor, and that's going to allow the steel plate to drop down. So I went ahead and loosened these screws earlier and I'm gonna go ahead and remove them. And as you can see, it's gonna let this steel plate drop down freely. I do wanna point out, you're not gonna have to worry about the plate becoming disconnected from the ring and potentially losing it in your stake pocket. It is permanently attached to the ring. So once you have this dropped down and hanging free, you're gonna hold the top black cover here, and then guide that anchor into the stake pocket. Probably you're gonna have to do that at an angle. And then you're gonna pull up on the cover and you wanna catch the steel plate, this lower bracket here on the sheet metal of the truck. And once you've made contact, grab a hold of the ring, and allow the cover to drop into place. And then you'll just replace the screws, and then tighten them with your screwdriver. And you really, all you need to do is hand tighten them. You don't wanna make the screws any tighter than that. If your plastic rail cap starts bending or starts bowing, that is a good indication that you're making the screws too tight, so you wanna make sure that you do not over tighten them. And then that's it for the installation. They're gonna be installed. They're gonna be ready to go. And then you can just pull the ring up and attach your strap, and you're good to go. Now you are going to get six tie down anchors, and these do have a lifetime warranty. And all in all, these are in my opinion, very well built, very high quality. And I'm a big fan of the ease of use, but even a bigger fan of how easy these are going to be to install in your bed rails on your truck. Well, that's gonna conclude our look today.
