Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this four and a half inch tall rear weld on hangar for two and a half inch wide slipper spring. Now, this rear hangar is designed to work with the trailer suspension systems that have two and a half inch wide slipper springs. This is often used as a rear hanger for the Dexter 10,000 pound general duty axles. This does provide an attachment point for your lease spring.

Basically, the hanger will suspend the spring from the trailer frame by providing a resting place for the slipper end of the spring. This is a well done installation. Give you a few measurements on this. When we say four and a half inches tall, what we're measuring is from the center of this bolt hole to the top here. So you can see, if we put a ruler on that center to the top is right at four and a half inches.

The width that the spring will go into is right about two and five eight inches wide. And the diameter of the bolt hole right down here is one and a quarter inches diameter.
