Matte black, powder coated steel is durable and corrosion resistant and creates a rugged look.because shipping box damaged it was scheduled for return. I had to go down to UPS and retrieve it knowing it probably was ok. I was right but could understand why it cardboard was damaged. no problem but ball on ball mount was not there? it took time to do all that but was glad to have it and not wait to have resent. the trailer hitch was fine and not damaged.
First of all I want to thank George for taking care of my issue with the delivery.
My son received the package and he told me the box was damaged and had a hole in it and heard a lot of rattling in the box. We opened it up and the bag of hardware wasn't stuffed in the hitch like it was supposed to be. We were missing some hardware.
I called up talked to George and he apologized and sent out new hardware.
Excellent customer service, MADE IN AMERICA, super fast shipping, very easy to install by non mechanic guy like myself.

Great quality and I like the finish. Install was easy, just had to put a little pressure on it to get the two further holes lined up. Couple minor scrapes but that's on UPS. The box took a beating in transit

Got receiver and had it on in two hours all good , except for the cut wires . Bumper bent and i didn't see how close it was to receiver . My mistake ! HA HA

Just installed it in less than 30 minutes. It fit perfectly on my girlfriends 2002 F150 unlike some other universal hitches. No drilling or struggling to line up holes. Just lift it up and install bolts and tighten. If everything I installed was this easy it would be fantastic. It also was shipped on time. Thank you

This is how a 72 year old guy and a small dog installed a 50 lb. trailer hitch in about 40 minutes. It was too easy. I thought about using a bucket to support one side while bolting down the other side but came to my senses. This hitch fit precisely on my 98 Ford F 100.

I have a 1998 F 150 SWB stepside 4.2 V6 2WD and was about to purchase a car dolly but the ramps touched the ground when installed on the bumper hitch. I purchased the Curt hitch and installation was a snap, couldn't get any easier. Delivery was in a timely manner and I couldn't be happier.
