Draw-Tite Tested Tough

Draw-Tite Tested Tough

Draw-Tite's Tested Tough program provides testing standards far superior to those outlined by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), the go-to source for engineering professionals.

Each Draw-Tite trailer hitch receiver undergoes extensive fatigue testing and static testing with the ball mount that is either supplied or recommended for use with that particular hitch, thus ensuring results that are applicable to real life use. Fatigue testing is also conducted on hitches rated for use with weight-distribution systems.

In addition, Draw-Tite performs static testing on a simulated automobile, as opposed to the rigid fixture used for SAE testing, resulting in a more true-to-life scenario.

Removed an aftermarket hitch that was interfering with the removal of the spare tire and was also very low. Item 75725 fit perfectly and installation took about 45 minutes due to removal of old hitch. First time ordering from etrailer and the vehicle search engine matched me with the best three options for my vehicle quickly. Item was received packaged well with all necessary hardware and on time. The new hitch was simple to install and everything lined up perfectly with factory holes and original vehicle bumper holes. Thank you etrailer, I have placed a second order for other items due to the ease of searching on their site and fast easy checkout.

Outstanding! After a year of use I highly recommend this product. Im glad I bought this hitch from etrailer.com. Easy order process, great product options, and fast delivery. Thank you etrailer!

review is for install, 30min is accurate for bolting on the hitch if it fits, mine did not, the spacing for the two holes under the bumper were about an 1/8" to close together, I did not have a burr tool, so elongating these holes was a pain, the surface finish was rough, looked like welding flash was left behind and the paint had some chips and scratches
I ordered the HM40975 connector, thought this would look real nice, wanted to mount under bumper, could not, see photo, the hitch tubing interferes with the plug, I would have needed to move the connector way out to the side past the end of the hitch, so I place it on the bottom of the hitch, don't like the connector hanging this low, maybe there is a better connector option for my application

To bring your wiring connector higher up on the hitch, a No-Drill Bracket such as # C57202 is a great solution. This bracket will allows your wiring to sit equal to the hitch receiver rather than under the receiver.

2005 Chevrolet Suburban

I'm happy with my order the only thing I had a hard time with was the pollak 7 and 4 way. The bracket that came with it to mount under bumper on 05 suburban with truck wiring plugged into it hit the hitch bc the hitch itself is straight across unlike valley hitch that curves in Ward. It stuck out to far. So I cut the bumper itself to the left of the tag the same as the bracket and mounted it in the bumper. To the right of the tag is the crank cover for the spare tire and that's what gave me the idea

2005 Chevrolet Tahoe

This hitch is one of the best in my honest opinion. It goes right up to the bumper and has higher clearance than factory. Also hold up the bike rack well.

by:

Great price for a quality product.
It
took longer to take out and put up the tools than it did for the install. Took roughly 30 minutes to install the trailer light port.

by:

Fit like a glove installed just as described and the best company to buy from I wish the sold everything from watermelons to bed sheets the best

by:

first, the hitch arrived a day early. ordering was a cinch. shipping carton very heavy duty. I can't speak for anyone else, but assembly was about as hard as putting two lego's blocks together. The hitch itself was seriously heavy duty and well made. Excellent product. Thanks Ashley from customer service. etrailer.com is a class A joint!!!!

Perfect

I had to drill out one of the holes because it wasn’t fitting. I put in my vehicles information and this is the hitch they sent me. It was a hair off and one of the bolts wouldn’t go in right. I had to buy a tap and die to fix the tread after I tried to get a bolt in. Then I had to bridge drill a hole a bit wider to make it fit.

It sounds like that the side brackets were knocked out of alignment which can happen while in transit to our facility or to you. We do have a FAQ that can assist with moving the side brackets of the hitch back into alignment to allow for installation. For a 2003 GMC Yukon it is not uncommon that the bolt holes needed to cleaned out to install the hardware. Grime and debris build up is common even on newer vehicles.

Without a doubt, I had never purchased a Trailer Hitch. I had used this so I could move my property to South Florida From North Carolina. Calling Customer service was Awesome and Informative. For a novice Guy with no experience in Purchasing a trailer Hitch. The agent made it very comforting To Complete My Purchase, once the Product Arrived/. I had my mechanic install the hitch it went off with no problems. I had everything that I needed in to have my trailer loaded unto the hitch. The Customer service agent just made the whole transaction from ordering to advising what I needed - Just perfect. I recommend That if You Purchase a trailer hitch, Just know you can't count on this Firm to help you accomplish this

Ok, one year after ....
I purchased
a new hitch to replace the original factory part. It had become really rusty and I was planning to pull a trailer that could get quite heavy. It didn't want it to come apart at the wrong time. Installing the hitch was heavy work with frozen bolts. The replacement it fine. The hitch is actually not as low as the original which is a bonus I think.

Very happy after of year of frequent use on this Draw-Tite receiver hitch for my '03 Tahoe. Installation was simple and the instructions were great. I pull a tandem and single axle trailer at least once a month for up to 200 miles round trip each time. Defiantly the right choice from a company who stands behind what they sell!!

2003 Chevrolet Tahoe

I liked how easy it was to order my hitch from The Etrailer Corp. The hitch worked great on my Chevy Tahoe and was easy to mount. I would recommend Etrailer to anyone looking for a good price and fast shipping and quality products.

Super product. Holding up very well. The paint on high impact areas safety chain connectors is scratched, but not down to metal. The last hitch I had rusted in 1 year.

by:
2004 Chevrolet Suburban

My trailer hitch arrived intact , it was packaged well and shipped well , I installed it as per instructions and installed it in the 30 minutes described in the product ad . At this time I cannot review the wiring harness as I have to order the extended bracket to install it .

by:
2002 GMC Yukon

I Mounted this on a 2002 Yukon Denali. The fit and quality were as good as OEM, and installation was easy with one person. The only drawback is the original had the light plug mounted to the hitch, but there is no accommodation for this on the new one.

by:
2006ChevroletAvalanche

my trailer hitch and 7 and 4 pin plug were a perfect fit on my 2006 chevy avalanche. delivery was as quick as you can get, I was surprised how fast. I have already recommended this site to several people. thanks again

by:
2003 ChevroletAvalanche

while they are correct, no drilling was necessary...this particular hitch does not allow for any connector bracket to be mounted on or near it. So if you need a 7 pin or 4 pin connector be aware that on a 2003 Chevy Avalanche your going to need to have a place to mount it other than the hitch. Also...on a 2003 Chevy Avalanche you'll need two additional bolts to mount the hitch to the bumper. The holes are there and tapped but no bolts provided, nor are they a part of the vehicle.

by:

This trailer hitch setup seems better than what was factory installed and has performed as good or better than i could have expected.

by:
2006ChevroletAvalanche

This receiver is a great product. It looks great and is far more durable than the OEM receiver. One note when installing... It shows two or three bolt locations on each side. However, it was easy to use all the hole locations using OEM bolts/Locations and instructed locations and included bolts.

by:

Easy install!

by:
2003 Chevrolet Suburban

Hitch installation went well. Had to do a small amount of drilling to get holes fully aligned but other than that it is working like a champ.

The wiring harness fit perfectly. Could not ask for a better solution.

by:
2002 GMC Yukon

Hitch has performed as advertised. You can't go wrong with etrailer.com!

by:

Both the trailer hitch and ball mount were delivered in one day. Have not mounted the hitch yet.

by:

Had this hitch for a year and am completely satisfied.

by:
2003 GMC Yukon XL

My trailer hitch assembly was delivered without any issues. The cost was an exceptional value. Thank you for your help. etrailer.com is the best !!!
