Good quality product, well built, sturdy. The video helped a lot with installation. I'm a fairly competent shade tree mechanic and installed it in just under 3 hours, with a few minutes help from my daughter with lifting and holding while I put one bolt in place.

One year later, no problems, satisfied customer.

Easy to install. Instead of prying the rubber mounts loose from the muffler bracket just unbolt the muffler brackets, two per side. Much easier.

No problems at all. Use the hitch every few weeks.

My Curt hitch arrived yesterday (in just two business days) and last night I was lying on my back in the garage installing it. The on-line time-to-install of about one hour was a tad off... it took me 3 hours and I'm a good mechanic. Maybe that time doesn't include reading the directions three times (even after I saw the on-line video), unloading the kids soccer stuff to get to the spare tire, and dropping my duel exhaust. But, the kit was FANTASTIC! Everything went in SUPER smooth and the hitch and bolts lined up perfect. The hardware and special wire feeders worked beautifully. However, this went so smooth because I have good tools, patience and worked on aircraft for 15 years. I can see someone dropping a few bolts inside and then banging their head on the undercarriage as they throw a fit in frustration.
The Curt hitch itself is a thing of beauty and engineering. first, it's a really SOLID piece of steel. The pictures don't do it justice. I think I could lift the entire car in the air and spin it around from a cable attached to that hitch.
The price was very good... and trust me... I shop. etrailer has my loyalty and support for hitches. But (and there's always a Butt), I was able to find the "Basic wiring kit" (with cable cover, plug cap, hardware, tester lite, and clips)for $6.50; and the special "Tail Light Converter" kit (needed on my Pacifica) for $14.95 -- all at Napa Auto Parts. That's about $21.50... quite a bit cheaper than any kits I found on etrailer.
Btw: It was total hell trying to find the right wiring set-up for my Pacifica. Nobody had a clear idea or guidance... or a well-priced kit. Everything seemed sketchy and vague and took a lot of searching on my part (ehow, car-mech, etc).
etrailer could have made that part of my experience a lot easier. If I saw that etrailer knew what I needed to do, and had a good price, I certainly would have bought it all from etrailer and saved myself a lot of e-time and hassle. You could market/handle that part of it better.

As it is..... everything is working FANTASTIC, and I'm really happy with the project.

WELL DONE etrailer!!!

As an absolute novice on buying this kind of parts I must say eTrailer has been awesome. The site shows the exact image of what you are buying instead of a generic image,(at least for the product I got), The price and shipping was also above and beyond. I did got the auto-generated messages, plus emails from real human beings following up. My experience with eTrailer has been excellent and I'm sure I'll not only recomend them but buy all my "trailing" goods from them.

This thing went in easily and I didn't even have very hightech tools to get it in as quick as possible. I was able to install it in about 45 minutes by myself using a jack and some wrenches.

  • Will Spare Tire Fit Under 2008 Chrysler Pacifica With Trailer Hitch Installed
Yes, the spare tire underneath your 2008 Chrysler Pacifica will fit back under the car when you install Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # 13529. If you take a look at the cut out of the linked installation instructions you can see where it specifies raising the spare tire back into position; it only needs to be lowered to install the hitch. For wiring which will give you a 4-way connector and allow you to power your trailer's lights you need Wiring Harness # C55530. I also recommend checking...

  • Is There a Difference Between the Hitch Receivers Offered for the 2007 Chrysler Pacifica 4.0
The two hitch receivers offered for the 2007 Chrysler Pacifica, Curt # 13529 and Draw-Tite # 75522, are basically identical, have the same towing capacities, and will install in the same way. There really is no way to get around lowering the exhaust and removing your spare tire to ease the installation process so it is highly recommended. Some say that Curt hitches have a better powder coating but for the most part, price is going to be the main difference. Now mattresses on the other...

  • Reese # 13529 Hitch Dimensions For The 2006 Chrysler Pacifica
I checked our warehouse and pulled the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # 13529 to measure width. This hitch is custom designed to fit the 2006 Chrysler Pacifica. From the outer edge of the inner frame holes is 39-3/8" and outer edge of the underside frame holes is 46-3/8". Included is a diagram and a video resource to provide further detail.

  • Trailer Hitch, Wiring Harness and Parts Needed to Tow Small Trailer with 2007 Chrysler Pacifica
According to my research, your vehicle has a towing capacity of 2600 lbs. This means that the trailer you choose plus what's loaded on it should not exceed 2600 lbs. For a trailer hitch, I'd recommend the Curt Class III, part # 13529. You'll also need a trailer wiring harness, part # C55530. You'll also need a ball mount and the appropriately sized trailer ball and a hitch pin and retaining clip. When installed (assuming that your Pacifica has stock tires and ride height), the hitch I...

  • Does Curt Hitch for 2006 Chrysler Pacifica Have Capacity for Wheelchair Carrier
The Curt hitch part # 13529 has a tongue weight rating of 350 lbs so as long as the weight of the carrier and the chair is less than that you'd be good. Also make sure the vehicle has enough tongue weight capacity as well. With towing setups you have to go with the lowest rated component as the overall towing capacity.

  • Will Curt Trailer Hitch, # 13529 Fit a 2006 Chrysler Pacifica
I believe I know the bracket that you are referring to. Take a look at the installation video for Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch, # 75522 which I have linked for you. In the video, our installer actually uses one of the bolt holes used by the bracket to install the hitch. The mounting brackets on this hitch and Curt Hitch, # 13529, to fit around the contours of the bracket. The exhaust hanger should not be an issue. If you plan on doing some towing, I recommend the etrailer Ball Mount Kit, #...

  • Recommended Trailer Hitch for 2006 Chrysler Pacifica
I do have a solution for you, however the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13362 referenced in your question is not designed to fit your 2006 Chrysler Pacifica. I instead recommend looking at the Curt Trailer Hitch # 13529. This Class III hitch is confirmed to fit your vehicle and will provide a 2 inch receiver opening with a gross trailer weight capacity of 3,500 pounds. No drilling will be required for installation. Keep in mind that the exhaust and spare tire will need to be temporarily...

  • Will Full Size Spare Still Fit Under 2005 Chrysler Pacifica After Installing Curt Trailer Hitch
After installing the Curt Class III Trailer Hitch Receiver # 13529 your full size spare tire will still fit in the spare tire carrier under your 2005 Chrysler Pacifica. The spare tire is lowered or removed for installation in order to make it easier to access the frame and install the trailer hitch. Once the hitch is installed, the spare tire can be raised back into position. I have attached an installation video of this trailer hitch being installed on a similar Pacifica to yours as...
