Ellen: Hey everybody. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com and we're taking a quick look at the K-Source Extendable Towing Mirror. This is going to be a direct replacement for the existing mirror on your vehicle to make sure that you have the best range of view while you're towing. A lot of times, whenever you've got a trailer behind you, whether that's a fifth wheel, a bumper trailer or anything else, a lot of times it can be kind of hard to see what's going on because you just need a wider angle to see what's going on back there. This is going to extend out to give you that better field of view so you can see what's going on, but whenever you're not towing, you can also bring that back in, and reduce a little bit of space of this is going to take up.This is a direct replacement for several Ford vehicles, including the Ford Excursion from 2000 to 2005, and then the Ford F250 and 350, 450 and 550, that's for 2001 through 2007. Any of those vehicles, this is going to work on.

It's just going to replace that mirror. Again, has the exact same footprint as your original mirror, works with the factory wiring so there's no cutting or splicing or anything like that.As you can see, we'll have our studs, comes with new locknuts to get those in place. It does also come with some adhesive to go over that as well, this is kind of a road dampening, kind of seals everything up on that inside. It does have some adhesive on the back of this foam to get that in place. You just put that over the wiring, put it on there, and it should be pretty good to go.Again, the wiring, simple enough, just unplug the original, plug this guy back in, tighten everything down and you should be good to go.

It does include the power adjustment inside your vehicle so you can adjust the mirror face to make sure that you can see what you're doing. It does also have the heated function, and it also has the built-in turn signal so their drivers can see what's going on out on the road.It also has the built-in blind spot so this will give you an additional field of view to eliminate any blind spots that you might have, to make sure that you're staying safe while you're out there on the road. This is manually adjustable, so you just push that wherever it needs to be to make sure that you can see what's going on.Also, it will break away, so this does have a hinge feature in this housing to allow it to come in tight to the vehicle, so if you're on a narrow street or going into a parking lot or anything like that, you can get it narrowed up so that it doesn't get knocked off or anything like that.Overall, pretty straightforward as far as the install, you can also get this as a kit. This is the driver's side. The passenger side is also available here at etrailer.com.

I'd highly suggest that you get both at the same time. Maybe you're just replacing one because something happened to it, this is going to be a great way to do that.
