Rob: How's it going, everybody Rob here at etrailer.com. Today we're going to be taking a look at the K Source Snap & Zap custom towing mirrors on our 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan. Having a towing mirror is going to give you a wider field of view. Whenever we're towing a trailer like we have here, you can clearly see me in the factory mirror. But that's not where the problem is. The problem is, if we not to change lanes or just move over, maybe we're backing up, something like that, and the problem comes in is we can't see too far over to the side.
We really don't want to stick our head out the window because that's going to be preventing us from keeping our eyes on the road. You can see, as soon as I step away, you're going to lose track of me in the factory mirror.But you can clearly see me in the towing mirror. Actually, we have another trailer right here which would be another car on the highway in the other lane. It's going to make it a lot safer and easier for us to get down the road, and then we have the confidence to not have to worry about sticking our head out and keeping our eye on our trailer.Our mirror is fully adjustable. We'll be able to adjust it left and right, up and down, and diagonally.
That way we can see what we not to see and adjust it to how we want it. Now the nice thing is it is a custom design so it's not going to affect our factory mirror or any of the functions. Although you can see the towing mirror is going to go around our factory mirror, it doesn't interfere with any kind of movement. We're still able to adjust our factory mirror fully and set it however we need to to make sure we have that perfect viewing angle.Now we are adding a little bit of distance to our mirror considering the fact that we are adding an additional mirror to it. But sometimes we don't have that space on the side.
Maybe we need to park our van in a parking garage or in a tight parking space, something like that. The nice thing is we're not going to have to remove the mirror. We can still fold our factory mirrors in and they're not going to make contact anywhere on our van.I think our towing mirror actually looks pretty nice. It has a black textured finish which is going to match a lot of plastic that's already on our van. That way it just has a nice seamless look.
We don't have any kind of gaps or anything like that. Now our towing mirrors are going to be a complete set, so we are going to get the driver side as well as the passenger side so we can see what's going on all around us on both sides of our trailer. These are really quick and easy to install. In fact, let's go ahead and put the passenger side on together.The process is going to be the same whether you're putting the passenger side on or the driver side. One thing I do want to point out, as you can see, it does have this foam tape in there. That's going to help make sure that it stays in place but also that we don't scratch our factory mirror or do any kind of damage to it. You'll notice on top here we're going to have these two tabs. We want to make sure we hook those tabs onto the mirror housing. We'll take our mirror, set it up to where those tabs go over the top. Then we just want to rotate the bottom section down. We want to make sure that that bottom tab clicks into place. Then we just make our adjustments. It's that easy.They do provide you with a bag, so whenever we're not towing we can put them in our bag and we can make sure to keep them in the back of our van. Now also, there is a divider inside the bag so we can put the driver side in one side, the passenger side in the other and it'll prevent any kind of scratches on those as well. It's really nice that they give you that bag. And again, we just keep it in the back whenever we need it. Now that we have our mirrors in place, we're ready to hit the road. I wasn't expecting these mirrors to be as good as towing mirrors like you can get on pick ups and such and they aren't. They do work though! I installed these on my 2017 Grand Caravan. They give me just enough extra visibility to see behind to safely change lanes and monitor traffic coming up behind me. They don't rattle or vibrate and I have used them up to 70 mph. Over time, they may scratch the original mirrors, but haven't done so yet.
I loved the info video. It was the main selling point that was the reason I bought the mirrors. I am totally pleased with them.

Mirrors are awesome. I do wish they were a bit larger viewing area but then they would block that view more so it is a tradeoff.
The mirrors work fine. You were lucky that the mirrors did not get damaged The box was badly damaged. The mirrors seem to be ok.
Wonderful quality & so easy to install over my existing mirrors.
Installation could have not been easier. Looks like it was factory installed.
The mirrors fit perfectly on my 2017 DGC, and offers improved view of the trailer!! Fantastic product!!! 110% satisfied.
Excellent product, fit like a glove no vibration at all, a larger glass surface would be nice but all in all a very good product.

I love them they fit and work extremely well I have got used to the smaller glass surface but the no vibration makes up for it.
First, mirrors arrived in their original packaging and sent through UPS. The original box which was just taped was crushed. I would have thought that this box would have been placed inside a larger box, filled with packaging material to avoid crushing, and then sent through UPS. The actual mirrors are much smaller than I had imagined, but they do the job after fiddling with them for adjustment. The best part of this product is that they are easy to install by following the instructions and snap into place without any trouble at all. Driving along the highway at 70 plus mph, the mirrors are firmly installed and there is no vibration. To sum up, good product, but the actual mirrors are smaller than expected. Thus one star subtracted. The second star is subtracted because the employee who prepared this product for UPS shipping is lacking in common sense. As I said earlier this should have been placed in a larger box, and filled so as not to crush the product.

Mirrors are super- easy to put on vehicle. They’re sturdy and work great! Very happy with purchase.
These mirrors work great on my 2013 T&C. They do not vibrate like some mirrors do. They are easy to put on and take off. They also come with a nice storage bag for when they are not in use. If your looking for a good sturdy tow mirrors look no further.

The mirrors fit perfectly. We used them on our trip to Wells Maine while pulling out travel trailer and had no problem with them. They gave great see around capability to keep an eye on traffic for lane changes.

Im still happy with these mirrors. With continued use, they have left witness marks on my vans original mirrors, but nothing that bothers me. Still very happy with them towing our tracker 175 WT boat. No rattles or vibration, so the view is clear and not distorted. My eyes arent as good anymore and these are a big help.
