This strap lets you tow a large tractor, truck or other heavy vehicle behind your truck or Jeep. Simply secure one looped-end to the free-moving vehicle, and secure the other looped-end to the tow hook or shackle on your towing vehicle. Remember, there needs to be a driver in the towed vehicle to apply the brakes as necessary, and you need to drive very slowly while towing. This polyester strap also stretches less than a nylon recovery strap so it should be used for towing and not for recoveries.

Today we're going to take a look at the SmartStraps, 20-foot long Recovery Strap with the Reinforced Loop Ends, has a 5,667-pound working load limit. Now, this durable recovery strap will help release a stuck vehicle, truck, tractor, or smaller machinery. The one end here will secure to the stuck vehicle, and the other end attaches to a tow hook or a shackle on the tow vehicle.It does use extra strong webbing, which is bright yellow for high visibility, and the webbing is strong enough, helps resist cuts and abrasions. Does have the nice stitched on cover, reinforced loops to help resist wear and tear at the pull areas. Again, a few dimensions on this. The width of it is two inches wide.
The length 20 feet. Maximum load of breaking strength on the strap is 17,000 pounds, and the safe work load limit or maximum vehicle weight is 5,667 pounds.One note is the weight of the stuck vehicle must not exceed the maximum vehicle weight rating of this strap being used, and this is for a quantity of one recovery strap. Great price, a nice safety item to have in the vehicle. Quick shipping.
Works great. So far have used it to pull to vehicle that went off-road and an ATV that was stuck in a mud hole.
I plan to use these (I bought 2) for lifting things with a tractor more than pulling. Although, I expect they'll get some use for pulling things too. I haven't used them yet, so that's the reason for 4 stars instead of 5. The stitching on the loops seem to be of good quality.
All of the products that I order from etrailer are excellent! I haven't had a chance to use it yet, but I am sure I will be soon.
Received product in a timely manner. It came stored in an easy compact storage tray for easy storage and transport for when needed.

Luckily havent needed to use for towing. Appears very durable. I used one of them for our SkyChair in the oak tree and its great :D
