Today we're going to be taking a look at the Bulldog Winch Shackle. This is a 1/2" steel zinc plated shackle. It's going to do a great job at resisting rust and corrosion and lasting a long time. It does feature the screw pin design, allows for easy installation and connection. The diameter of the screw pin's going to measure about 1 5/8". The working load amount on the unit's going to be 17 tons, which is 34,000 pounds, making this ideal for heavy duty applications.
A few measurements to go over with you real quick, we're just going to take a look at the opening. Going in this direction at the widest point, that looks like it's going to measure about 3 5/8". Opening that we have going in this direction from the top of the screw pin to this point right here, that's going to give a measurement of about 5 5/8". Measuring outer edge to outer edge that looks like it's going to measure about 7". Again it's got all the information printed on it, so the diameter of the actual shackle's going to be an 1 1/2". Over here it says WLL, which is working load limit, 17 tons, which is 34,000 pounds.
Then again the diameter of that screw pin is going to measure about 1 5/8". That's going to do it for today's look at the Bulldog Winch Shackle.
