Video Transcript for Slime Tire Inflation and Repair - Tire Sealant - SLM10007 Review

Today we are going to be taking a look at the Slime Tire Shield for small tires. This is an 8 ounce bottle. Its going to be great for motor cycles, scooters, wheelbarrows, small trailer tires and bicycles. The tire sealant instantly and repeatedly repairs tread area punctures up to a quarter inch size using fiber seal technology. That means that they're microfibers in the formula that are carried by the escaping area to the puncture area. Once they get to that puncture area, they build up and that's what's going to form a plug that's going to stop air loss.

This will seal multiple punctures repeatedly and instantly. It's got a non-flammable and non-toxic design so it makes it safer for you and the environment. Its also non-corrosive, non-flammable, non-aerosol and its water soluble. The 8 ounce bottle is going to be great for one small tire or 2 bicycle tires. It is safe for finished metal wheels and can easily be cleaned up with water. Located on the bottle, are going to be the installation instructions.

Its an 8 step process, very easy to do so. Now when installing the slime, you'll need to remove the valve core. They do provide the included tools located right there at the cap of the bottle. Its nice that they include that. You'll want to allow the tire to fully deflate and then remove the puncture object if possible. It also comes with a hose that's that piece right there directly under the label.

Attach the hose and then just squeeze the slime in. After you get that done, just replace the core from the valve and inflate the tire and then you're ready to drive, stop. You want to verify the seal and then check the pressure to make sure that you're good to go. The product is made in the USA and product performance is guaranteed for 2 years. Please keep in mind that slime is a temporary repair when used in passenger vehicles and it will not seal punctures outside the tread area.

That's going to do it for today's look at the Slime Tire Shield for small tires and the 8 ounce bottle.

  • How to Correct Air Leaking from Tires on Trailer Valet Trailer Mover STC-V211
If the pneumatic tires on your Trailer Valet # STC-V211 are needing to be aired up each time you use your trailer I suggest either using a tire sealer product like Slime Tire Sealant # SLM10007 or if that does not solve the issue replacing your tires' inner tubes with part # TVIT. The tire on my wheelbarrow used to leak slowly until I applied some sealant. Since the sealant option is less costly I suggest trying that before replacing the inner tubes. The main reason solid tires are not...
