Inno Square Load Bars - Black - 46" Long:Videos are provided as a guide only. Refer to manufacturer installation instructions and specs for complete information.
Today we will be taking a look at the Inno roof rack system for factory track rails. The stays are available with part number INTR and the bars are available in a variety of lengths. See our website for the length that will work best for you. The Inno roof rack system is going to allow us to carry Inno as well as other accessories on top of our vehicle such as kayak carriers, roof mounted cargo baskets, and bike racks. The square profile crossbars are made of a hardened steel with an elastomeric coating and they come in eight lengths ranging from forty-two to sixty-five inches. The crossbars come in a pair including the end caps to keep grime and debris from getting inside.
The crossbars are held in place by Inno's versatile stay. Now this particular model is designed to fit on the factory track rail systems. The stays also feature a locking mechanism which is designed to cover up our hardware, that way it can't be tampered with. Now this Inno roof rack system has a max weight capacity of a hundred and forty pounds, but keep in mind it's going to be limited to your vehicle's roof capacity which you can find in your owner's manual. Now Inno recommends a crossbar spread between nineteen and five-eighths inches and thirty and three-eighths inches. You can adjust these depending on your load length. Now that we've gone over some of the features, I'll go ahead and show you how to put it together and install it on our vehicle.
We've already got the rear in place so we can go ahead and finish this one. We've got our crossbar, we've got our two stays designed to fit with our factory track rail, and then we've got our fit hooks that are specifically designed for our vehicle. You can find your specific vehicle on our website at etrailer dot com. So first thing we'll do is we'll grab one of the stays. We'll take our keys and we're going to need to remove the cover. That's going to reveal where our hardware goes.
Then we'll take this portion of our fit hook and put it underneath and then we're going to take two screws. We will want to line it up with the holes there of course. We'll take two screws, put those through the top just to keep it in place. So it'll look like that. Then we'll take one of the hooks, we'll put it underneath and go ahead and screw that on a little bit.
Now when it fits into our track rail, on top of our vehicle, it's going to be in this position and I'll show you how this works when we get it up there. So let's go ahead and put this other hook in place. All right, then we can put the other one together. So now we'll take our stay with the fit hooks installed and then we're going want to set that on our track rail and it's going to sit on the inside and the outside portion of it. Then once we got it in there, we'll take our included Allen key and we'll tighten that down a little bit. We don't want to tighten it all the way down just yet but just enough so it's not going to come back out. Then we can repeat that same step on the other side. Now with those two stays in place, we'll grab our crossbar and we'll just feed it through meeting with the other side. We'll come over here and we'll finish receiving the crossbar. Now that we've got that slid in here, we'll need to make sure we have even bar overhang on both sides. So you can use a tape measure or your finger just to line up, just to make sure that it's even. I think that looks pretty good. Yeah. But before we tighten our stay down, we'll want to make sure we have equal crossbar spread on both sides. I've already had the rear in place, like I said before, and I've slid my stay all the way up to this panel here as far as it'll go which is making it twenty-eight inches which is what we're going with today. So then we'll take our included Allen key and tighten that down. Let's go ahead and put on our crossbar end caps then finally, let's install our cover. So we'll just slide that on, making sure that your key is in the unlocked position. Once it's in place, lock that up and then it's covering up our hardware. Now with our last cover on, our Inno roof rack system is installed and we're ready to start loading up some accessories. That's going to complete our look at Inno roof rack system for factory track rails.

These steel, square crossbars attach to Inno feet to create a sturdy roof rack for your vehicle. Elastomer coating resists corrosion and helps cushion your load. Bars accommodate carriers and accessories that clamp around bars.I bought this rack because I had a pair of Thule rectangular bars. It is a solid and secure rack now. However, it is not quick on and off. Very fiddly, pretty much a two person job.
Also it make a ton of airflow noise. Pretty annoying.

These bars are excellent. I like the coating to protect whatever you're hauling. There is absolutely 0 flex with my kayak mounted, unlike the aluminum aero bars I upgraded from.
Easy to install, great instructions, looks good, will use for bikes and kayaks, a welcome edition to our gas saver car
Great product and GREAT service. These feet fit my INNO B117 square bars and base brackets for a perfect fit on my Mazda 5 wagon. Took about 40 minutes to install the whole rig. Jonathan at etrailer was a huge help, and got these to me in two days.
Shipping took considerably longer than originally promised. Product quality & value I consider both to be good.
Worked great! Traveled with a carrier on these racks from Chicago to Seattle. No issues, would buy again!
Fit perfectly. A bit expensive but what isn’t anymore.
Missing Parts - I am missing two of the end-caps for the INB117. What is the deal with INNO quality control that it cannot get 4 of these in a box at the same time and tape it shut? I did a search on Google and apparently this a a known QC issue!
If you're a Lexus GX460 owner, think the OEM cross bars are wimpy, and don't want to shell out $500-$600 for "aero" style bars, this is for you.
I chose the Inno INXP base over the INTR base because I thought it looked sleeker, and I wanted as much clearance over the shark fin antenna as I could (although both bases clear the antenna, the INXP is taller). The product description is slightly different for the two bases, but both of them are able to slide along the factory flush rails. Choosing between the two is a matter of taste.
A couple of hints for installation:
-I didn't receive an English copy of the installation instructions for the base, but was able to figure it out anyway. You could easily find them online.
-The screws that come with the base aren't needed, use the longer ones that come with the fit kit.
-Loosely attach the fit hooks, clip the base on top, slide the rail through, THEN tighten the screws.
-When putting the fit hooks on the rails before putting the base on top, make sure the screws are backed out as much as physically possible without disconnecting. Even still there is very little play when sliding the rails through before tightening everything down. It would be nice if the screws were even 1/8" longer, but it would only make installation easier. Once everything is tightened down it's as solid as can be.
Overall I'm very happy. I like the more rugged look of the square bars, and shaking them moves the whole vehicle and they don't budge.
I got these to replace my OE roof racks. The square shape is perfect for Yakima Bowdown kayak racks. Solid!
My order showed up quicker than expected and installed without too much hassle by myself. My only issue is that I expected the adapter parts to level out the mounting feet so that the two cross bars are in line. But nothing like that occurred so the bars sit at an able to each other. Maybe I'm missing something, but it seems to still work, just not what I expected.
One of the lesser expensive rack kits for the Mazda5. etrailer delivered excellent! They had items in stock and shipped quick. I finally had a chance to install it this evening. My only frustration was evening out the bars. Measure, adjust and measure and adjust. I'll look into getting a fairing to reduce wind noise.
Pretty cool setup, instructions just need to to be better and all parts should be in one box
Fit was good. Hauled a roof top carrier 2000 miles with no issues. Wind noise was minimal.
The quality and strength of the steel was never in question, and everything bolted up as normal.
The customer service representative was friendly, answered all of my questions, and arranged for same day shipment. It arrive missing some end caps, and when I notified her of this, she had a replacement set sent out. I would recommend etrailer for any of your bike roof rack purchases
Product arrived on time and packed very professionally. Was very satisfied with the overall quality of the product. Everything went right together and fit perfectly. I dealt with a gentlemen named George J. He was very professional and extremely helpful throughout the whole process with updates letting me know how my order was going. Very happy with the product.
The Inno product allowed us to use our older style square Thule bars with two Hullavators on our new vehicle which saved us many headaches and money.
I got the whole kit...on Marc C's recommendation. He was so very patient and helpful! The kit is great. I am not so versed in doing such things so my neighbor put it on the car for me. He was just over and over again extolling the Praises of the instructions. He said they're the best ones he ever used. It fits on the car, it feels solid, and it looks great. I'm very very happy with it. Thank you so much!
Great Product! Shipping was very fast for free shipping, and product was packaged well. Installation was a breeze, and only took about 30 min. I am very pleased with my purchase!
Easy to install. Installed with the wife in about 30 minutes with the Inno foot pads. No wind noise.
I ordered roof racks for our new to us car. Once I placed the order I decided I wanted longer cross bars. I cancelled the bars on the order but couldn't figure out to add the bars I wanted. I called etrailer and was connected to Ashley. Ashley helped me to get the bars I wanted. She kept in touch, letting me know about shipment, a slight delay in the shipment and when the shipment was expected to arrive. Ashly gave my purchase a personal touch that I really appreciated.
Same as for the install kit. Too many part, too much install, and I didn't have the confidence in it that I would like. I think they try to adapt a 'standard' kit and then wind up having to include more hardware to make it work. Disappointing.
I was really pleased with the price and how quickly my crossbars arrived. Also, being able to access the installation guide on the website was awesome because the instructions that came in the box were more general.
Awesome product. It has everything in it needed to mount to multiple different vehicles. From what I remember it was a little confusing to figure out which pieces I needed to use. To have specific instructions for every possible combination would be impossible. The instructions are vastly better than IKEA's instructions.
The only problem that I am having is that I need to move the rack to a different vehicle and I do not remember where I put the extra parts.
