Today, we'll be taking a look at the K-Source replacement side mirror. This is going to be for the passenger side and it's a custom fit for the 2014 through 2018 Toyota Tundra. So, this is going to replace your mirror with a pretty much identical new one. Has this nice Chrome back for our mirror should match up with our original footprint there, has the breakaway design. So when, if we're in close quarters parking, we can fold that in, keep our mirror safe. It's going to have all the electric functions.
So it'll have that blind spot detection system down there at the corner. It also has a heated function and we'll be able to remotely adjust that mirror. So, you'll have your little button on the inside of your cab where you can make all those adjustments electronically. Now, if you didn't already have those power capabilities in your Tundra, this isn't going to be an upgrade for that system.This is only going to allow you to use those functions that you already have. So, if you didn't have heated glass before, it's not going to give you heated glass now.
So, I just want to let you know that right up front. It does have a convex lens to provide a wider angle of view and reduce any blind spots, has that nice reflective chrome. So it's just like your OE grade convex glass mirror. The housing is a durable plastic with a black finish overall and then again, that chrome back. It's a pretty easy install, no drilling or wiring required.
You'll just plug in your electrical connections there. Should plug right up and then we'll have our studs that'll go in.And some new hardware, it comes with three nuts to go over those studs, a foam pad to reduce any road sound or anything like that. The one thing that this does not have as far as those functions is a turn signal. So, if yours originally had a turn signal, you'd need a different mirror to still have that function. And if you need the driver's side mirror, we do have that available etrailer.com.
That part number is KS70230T, can find that available here if you need that other replacement mirror as well but should get you out on the road, enjoying your Tundra again with a nice new replacement mirror that just looks like the factory and that's going to do it for our look at the K-Source replacement side mirror for the passenger side..

Simple bolt-on mounting and plug-in wiring.Will start by saying great mirrors. An exact match for my 2018 Tundra. Electronics work great and they are 99.9% identical to OEM. My only complaint is no installation. Instructions came in the package. Had there been I might not have fought with them a half hour before I realized. That under the rubber seal were the replacement nuts, no wonder the mounting studs seemed so short. In all I am very pleased with my purchase and will recommend these to who ever needs mirrors.
I ordered the wrong one in error and they were quick in refunding and reshipping the right one. The new mirror looks great thank you so much
