Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Chevrolet Colorado, we're gonna be installing the WeatherTech Side Window Air Deflectors with dark tinting. This is for the front and rear. Part number WT82766.These WeatherTech Air Deflectors are not only going to add style to our vehicle, but they're gonna allow us to let fresh air in while keeping the bad elements out. The kit comes with four deflectors, two for the front and two for the rear, and they feature a limited lifetime warranty.Just like they're named, they're designed to deflect air around our window to allow for better circulation inside while reducing noise when the window is cracked. Compared to other window deflectors, these are more low profile. They sit up against the vehicle closer while still getting the job done.
They're constructed out of a three millimeter thick acrylic. They're very durable, so they're going to hold up for a long time. Now that we've gone over the features, I'll go ahead and show you how to get them installed. We're going to start right here on the passenger side, so we need to be sure we have the corresponding piece. We also want to be sure that our window is clean and that the weather stripping around where our window rolls up into is also clean. What you want to do is go into the corner at kind of an angle and start bowing the other side and then work your way up.
Once you get up about this far, you'll then want to come over here. Bow it down. I know it's going to seem like it wants to break, but it will not. You come down to about here. Get into the channel.
And then, as you go up you'll want to help it go into the seal. Just like that. Once it gets up there, you can kind of pull it towards you a little bit and make sure that it's seated correctly. And then you can repeat the same process on the driver's side. Now let's do the rear window. It installs very similar.
This one has some adhesive. Let's go ahead and peel off that protective paper. With this one, we're going to start on the rounded arched portion here. So we'll bring it down at an angle. Go ahead and fit it into position. The other side, we need to bow in. We can kind of come down, wait until it fits in there, and then work our way up. And again, you just want to be sure as you're sliding it up that it goes within the channel at the top. Once it's up there, you can kind of pull it towards you. Make sure that it's seated. And then again, you can repeat the same process on the other side. With all of our window deflectors installed, we'll want to roll our windows up and down five times. This is going to help seat the air deflectors within the channel up top. Now we'll want to leave the window up. This is going to help the air deflector form to where it needs to be. The rear one is done the same way. With our air deflectors on, that completes our installation and we're ready to enjoy the fresh air without letting in the elements. And that's going to complete our installation of the WeatherTech Side Window Air Deflectors with dark tinting for the front and rear. Part number WT82766, on our 2018 Chevrolet Colorado crew cab.

They are great they were easy to install the only thing is they sound like they are going through sand when they go up and down but that doesn’t bother me they work for what I needed them
To install was a breeze. However, for the first month, the front guards continuously made a squeaking noise going up and down. Called back to WeatherTech and they sent me a replacement set and all was good. Thanks for the great customer service.
No issues it went in as described
The step by step directions and video were spot on
Arrived, as advertised. Very easy install and looks great on my truck.
Etrailer is my first choice for online purchases these days. Love the follow up from them.
This product fit perfect. The instructions were a little lame.
Delivery was quick. I am going to buy it my other car.

Installation was quick and easy. Looks good!
One year and still on the vehicle. They work great when driving in the rain can crack the windows open to get a little fresh air. It weren't used to put on I think I had them on in less then 30 minutes. Would highly recommend.
Love these. Look great and installed e asily
Fit perfect, easy to install!
They installed in ten minutes. Looks good and does as they were advertised to do.
Excellent costumer service
Will see how they hold up.
First bad experience with a WeatherTech product. Do not recommend for 2010-2014 Ford Expedition or similar models. I see 4 flaws.
3 of 4 pieces cracked at the corner even when I tried to be as gentle as possible in incrementally raising windows once installed. It seems to be just a few millimeters too oversized.
Second, Rear windows will not raise all the way back in place due to thickness of plastic, it stops. You have to push windshield up while holding the switch.
I was worried that this force would damage the window tint due to excess friction and it may push the rubber out to the point it would be damaged if I took them off months or years later.
Third, and arguably the most important. Too much wind noise. The Ford Expedition is very quiet for an SUV. I tried these for close to a week and I had to take them off. It sounded like gusty wind noise even when there was no wind other then the vehicle going through the air. I removed them and the SUV was quiet again.
Four, It isn't optically correct. Hard to see in the photo, but when looking at the area between the A pillar and side mirror, it's wavy and distracting. Also makes the A pillar appear much larger when it's darker outside due to the tint.
So even though they look nice, and you can crack your windows in the rain if your car is sitting still or you never exceed 50 mph... I wasn't able to get comfortable with the above issues. I can't return them since I installed them and tried them. But hopefully someone else can benefit from this.
It’s still early. I did the upgrade while in a walking boot (cannot drive) due to an Achilles rupture. So I can only comment on the install, which was much easier on the back windows. The front windows were a little awkward but eventually went in. I don’t like the ‘clunk’ as the window closes in the last inch or so. The window comes in contact with the deflector and clunks. I hope the plastic heats / cools and reforms as it sits over the next few days. Otherwise I like the look and finish, it’s just the fit which I’m not completely convinced off yet.
These weather tech side window rain guards are really well made. Front ones installed easily and allow us to crack open the windows even in the rain. I could not for the life of me install the rear ones, or I would have given them 5 stars.
Do you have a question about this Rain Guard?
