Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a brief look together at this B&B Dual Water RV Inlet. Now this Dual-fill Water Inlet Panel is going to let you update your RV's worn fresh water inlets. This is a direct replacement for your standard RV part. So let me go ahead and begin by giving you some dimensions just so right up front, you can be confident this is going to work for you. So let me see if I can measure that cutout first, and looks like we're sitting pretty close to six inches wide.
Let me see if I can give you the height as well. again, of just the cutout. So it looks like we're gonna be sitting right at about, right about three and three quarters inches tall on the cutout. And then the overall dimensions, looking at the width end-to-end, we're sitting right at seven and a half inches wide. And then on the height from bottom to top, right about five and a quarter inches tall.
And then the total depth, we're gonna be sitting pretty close to two and a half inches deep it looks like. Now, let's go over these ports here. First, we have the gravity fill opening and spout. It's gonna let you fill your fresh water tank. This does use a barbed connection here at the back, and this is going to fit your one and three eighths inch or one and a quarter inch hose to tank.
And the twist on cap here is going to let you and let that cap hold fast to keep that fill clean and prevent water loss. And as you can see, this is tethered, so you're not gonna have to worry about easily losing this cap. So that's going to be for the gravity fill opening. And then our city water inlet is going to connect to a drinking water hose or a pressurized connection, whether you're at home or at a park. And the plastic check valve is going to keep the pressurized water from back flowing.
You can see it has a little filter in there. And then the half inch MPT fitting inside is going to connect to a threaded hose. And then this rubber plug is going to fit tight to seal out dust and debris and grime and things like that. We also have an air vent here that's going to balance air pressure to allow for smooth water flow. You will just attach three eighths of an inch tubing that is not included with this. That is sold separately. This is made here in the USA of a very durable plastic. So it's gonna hold up really well for you. This is NSF, IAPMO, CSA and TEI certified. This does include everything that you see here on my table. You're going to get the hardware as well as some butyl tape. Something I like about the screws here, the heads are covered in black, so it will match the rest of the panel here. So that's a nice touch. And dropping my screws there. But overall, I think that if this meets the specifications that you are looking for, this is going to be a great replacement, if you're looking to update your RVs worn water inlets, again, direct replacement for your standard RV part. Well, I think that's gonna wrap up our brief look today. I do hope that our time together was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
