Designed for 2nd generation MORryde StepAbove steps (MR68RR or MR78RR - sold separately), this durable 3-piece step rug set gives you a place to wipe off your feet after a hike on the trails. Heavy-duty bristle fiber material removes dirt and debris easier than standard turf rugs, so there's less sweeping and mopping inside your RV. Hook-and-loop fastening strips provide extra support to keep the rugs snug to your RV Steps.
What Generation are Your MORryde Steps?
If your MORryde steps have a removable pin to adjust and lock the legs in place, you have the first generation MORryde StepAbove steps.
If your MORyde steps have a button that releases the legs for adjustment, you have the second generation MORryde StepAbove steps.
Quick and Easy Installation
The rugs wrap around your steps and secure with included hook-and-loop fastening strips and springs - no screws, glue, or tools needed. For each rug, the 2 hook-and-loop fastening strips stick to the front edge and top, back portion of the step. Once the rug is aligned and pressed firmly to the step, the springs connect the front and back grommet holes of the rug underneath your RV step, giving you a clean, seamless look. Rugs can quickly be removed for cleaning and easily reattached when you're finished.

What's up everybody, it's AJ with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna be checking out these Trail Head step rugs. So, these are gonna go on your Moryde 2nd generation steps. Let's check 'em out. Looking at the step rugs, they look nice on your steps. Also, it gives you a little more grip or texture when you're walking up into the steps, better than just the aluminum steps.
As you walk up and down, this one's gonna feel a little bit better on bare feet too, and be better for your pets. So first of all, you want to lift up your step and see what generation you have. It's really easy to check out. If you have a pin and clip to adjust the legs, then it's gonna be a 1st generation. If you have the button to push to adjust it this way, that's gonna be 2nd generation, and that's what these rugs work with.
Looking underneath the steps, the rugs are gonna be secured with these springs. They're nice and tight. You see the rugs did not shift on the steps, which is important when you're walking up and down them. The rugs are gonna be made out of a heavy-duty bristle fiber, so it'll help get things off the bottle of your shoes when you're walking in or out too so you don't trek a mess in your camper. Also, this one that we're looking at today, is gonna be buskin brown.
Also comes in black if that's more fitting for the rest of your rig. You're gonna get three rugs in this set, make sure you check out which ones to put on which step. The bigger one's obviously gonna go on the top step. That one has the most depth to it. But they're not bad to install, check out how we did it.
I'm gonna show you how to put the top step rug on. You're gonna have the adhesive strip here, you wanna peel that off on both of these, and stick it to the step. Now we're just doing this for demonstration purposes today, so I'm not gonna do that, but what we are gonna do is run these strips through the back of our step, feed them down there, 'cause that's where we're gonna add the springs. Need one in the center. There's gonna be two on each side of that. Now you can climb underneath to do those springs, attach those next, but I'm actually gonna bring the step up so it's easier for you to see what I did. Bring step back up. If you don't wanna lay on the ground, it's a good method, so make sure you just hold onto that rug to keep it in place. I'm gonna go ahead and latch the steps into. There you go. And then, we'll just start adding our springs. Bring it down. With the first one latched, it should be easy just to do the same thing for the remaining three. With the last one, your top step's done, you're gonna feed that same process on the other two steps. Overall, I think these rugs are a great addition to your steps, they're gonna improve traction as you're walking up and down, also keep dirt from getting inside your rig, and just be better to step on it if your in bare feet or for your pets. The step rug reassured my elderly golden retriever that it was safe to use the steps to get into the travel trailer, and saved me having to build a ramp for access. The same could be said about my dog's elderly owner.

Easy to install, durable product, competitive pricing & looks great. Probably will need to be cleaned fairly often, but better than dragging dirt & debris inside. Used a small, hard bristled brush which worked perfectly!

I think the carpet for the steps look very professional and durable. And give a really have nice look to our RV. The fit is just right for the MoRryde 2nd generation steps.

Etrailer was the only company that took the the initiative to explain the difference between 1st generation and 2nd generation Moryde stairs. This enabled me the order the correct step covers. They were easy to install and look great!

I bought the Prest-O-Fit 3 piece step rug set after purchasing a competitor product that ended up an inch short on the ends and most importantly the third rug was not customized to fit the 2nd GEN MORryde step above RV steps that have a wider top stop and you need the straps to go into the slots as the rug will not fit all the way around the step. The Prest-O-Fit does come with a customized wider top step with the straps that are needed and makes a perfect fit. If you were looking for well-made and a customized fit for your steps this is the product for you.

These are made of shredded plastic not woven together, nor woven into the backing. . The little pieces of plastic are easily pulled from the rubber backing. They look cheap and appear they would quickly lose the plastic shreds making up the surface. Not a carpet or woven rug like the steps we previously had. We are returning this product as not satisfactory.

They fit perfectly. Installation was aimple, apply velcro strips to bottom of stair treads, wrap cover around step and attach to velcro. Attach springs. I did have to cut 2 of them to fit around railing but they were already perforated where I had to cut. Couldn't be easier Finished install looks great.

LOVE them! Step covers fit perfectly and easy to install. Our elderly dog could not get up/down the steps, but once we installed these covers, he is now able to get up and down. They were delivered before the expected date which was wonderful since we were leaving on a 2 week camping trip. Thank you etrailer for excellent service on getting the step covers so quickly to us!

These covers fit perfectly and have eliminated the slippery steps we had before when they were mostly bare metal. They also catch a lot of dirt and debris keeping it out of the camper. The down side to that is they are a little difficult to clean.
