The vacuum breaker lets you attach a handheld shower set (sold separately) to make cleaning mud and sand off the kids, pets, and shower walls even easier. The vacuum breaker also has an anti-siphon device - a small air hole that drains water back out of the hose to prevent your dirty shower water from contaminating your clean water supply.
Using the standard NPSM inlet shanks, slide the new valve and deck plate in place through the already existing mounting holes. Hand-tighten the included mounting nuts against the backside of the wall, and connect the hot and cold water lines. The use of tub and tile caulk (not included) is required.

Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at this Empire faucets, RV tub, and shower, diverter faucet. This is going to allow you to upgrade the diverter faucet in your RV camper or mobile home. This is a nonmetallic ABS plastic construction So it's going to be very lightweight and durable. You're not going to have to worry about a rust and corrosion, that sort of thing.
It does have this Chrome finish on it, so it is going to look really nice and very easy to blend in with the rest of your fixtures. You can see this does have a dual handle design with these crystal style knobs for our handles. This is going to allow us to fine tune the temperature so that we can make sure that it's not going to be too hot or too cold for us. This will work with a wall-mounted shower head, which is not included, but all you have to do is lift up on that diverter pin. And that's going to allow the water to flow up to your shower head.
Once you have water pressure that will hold a diverter pin up in place. This does have a washer list design that's going to reduce friction and daily wear for long lasting durability. You can see our inlet shadings on the back here. These are all your standard, half inch NPT shanks. So it is going to work with your current hardware to get this installed.
The distance between our shanks, we're looking at right about eight inches center to center. Our overall width, we look at from one side to the other. I'm going to say it's 10 and 1/8 of an inch, just over 10 inches in total width. And then our total depth is going to be measured right to where this is going to mount on your wall. So I'm going to call it.
six and seven, eight, just shy of seven inches deep. This is a wall Mount installation. So you're going to need the three holes that will be duck plate and mounting hardware are included here. They do recommend using some tile and tub caulk, just to get everything sealed up, and that is not included, should be very easy to pick up, make sure that your installation is complete. This is ADA compliant, so that should work for everyone out there, and it does come with a limited lifetime warranty.
