I cannot use the Cover with my camper. It is designed to cover one propane tank. My trailer has only one tank but there is a valve that would accommodate a second tank. The valve is in a position that gets in the way of cover. Plastic cover is assembled with small bolts and lock washers. Since I assembled it at home before I realized it won’t fit I can’t return it466648

Overall it’s a very good product for what it’s meant to do. Only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is because the “mounting” is a bit cheesy: just 2 small ears with holes for a bungee cord of some sort which wouldn’t do much. Basically it’s a friction fit around the tank, which is fine but not worth the 5th star. My order came missing the lid and hardware, and etrailer quickly resolved the issue with a phone call and sent out the remaining pieces next day. Customer support is always great. If you have a single 20lb tank I would recommend this product.874508

The Camco RV Polyethylene Propane Tank Cover for (2) 20-lb Steel Tanks - Black - CAM40521 halves went together fine but the bolts/nuts were a challenge as they were so small. Otherwise a great product that looks nice. I just wish there was a small door on the back so I could readily see the regulator which has a red flag to indicate the tank is empty.826040

I bought the single tank cover and I rated the cover with only 3 stars for two reasons that I was unawarenof before the purchase. The method of attachment to the frame/bottle is via two small holes at the bottom of the cover and a bungee cord of your choice. You could make a sturdier connection via a homemade piece of flat bar but that makes it harder to swap bottles out. The second issue involves connecting the propane hose to the bottle. I have two choices on my trailer which are a) buy a longer hose that will go under the cover and back up to the tank connection or b) cut an access hole in the back of the cover. The longer hose is obviously more expensive and the hole would need some sort of grommet to protect the hose and keep out heavy rain. So, I think Caamco needs to modify the design. FYI, my hose is still too short if I tried to enter via the top access panel.1207700

Purchased to cover a single tank on a 22' travel trailer. Easy to assemble the two halves together. The door on the top allows for easy access to the propane tank valve and there is sufficient room to accommodate a propane fuel guage. After a year in the weather, there is some slight fading of the color but a quick wipe with Armor All or Rejuvinate and the shine returns. It was a tight fit between the battery box and my Bulldog electric jack stand. I had to rotate the stand 180 degrees to make everything work. My only dislike is the tabs on the bottom (to secure it to the trailer)which require you to get on the ground to unhook whenever you need to change out the propane tank.1221384

I purchased the propane tank cover knowing that I would have to modify it to fit my application and it worked perfectly. The propane tanks on our horse trailer are directly in line with left rear tire on our truck and were constantly covered with mud. This cover eliminates the problem completely and looks better in the process. The modification took about 5 minutes to complete.663655

I had asked in the question section if this would fit a 2018 Viking Epic 1906 pop up camper with pic. I measured my tank situation and decided to order it. IT FITS! I did have to move the tank a little, but it fit perfect! Very happy with etrailer. See attached pic.559829
