Adco RV Propane Tank Cover for Dual 20-lb Tanks - Diamond Plate

I hope to get at least five years usage from this propane tank cover. The two piece top board is very cheap and I doubt if it will last more than two years. Obviously this two piece particleboard, even less, cardboard top surface should have at least been made from 1/4 in. plywood. My guess is that they designed it to save themselves on shipping costs and packaging size. The poly vinyl cover is pretty nice so I will wait and see how I like it. I would have purchased the solid plastic two tank cover but I did not like the bulkiness and look.1309650

The vinyl cover is holding up well but I was right, the two piece cardboard top fell apart after the first year. I use the old top as a template and made one out of quarter inch plywood. Works great and after the vinyl cover wears out, I will re-assess what replacement I will use. I will buy another one if the price stays low, otherwise forget it, I might make something out of thin diamond plate aluminum

@Dennis I hate to hear that the top boards fell apart, we do not sell the replacement boards. The cover does a 3- year warranty though. I can email you the information but to be honest it sounds like your idea is better.

The cover was as described. It arrived a day early and in great packaging. The quality is the same as if I purchased it from the local RV store. I appreciate the rapid shipping and great communication on the delivery status.

It has been a year since receiving my RV Tank cover. It has worked exceptionally well. We have used the cover in desert heat as well as mountain snow with no problems. Although easily removed for tank refilling they stay tight and in place with nor looseness. I am ver pleased with my tank covers and HIGHLY RECOMMEND them to anyone who wants a quality produced long lasting cover at a reasonable price.

Just recieved the cover so cant determine the durability yet. It seems well made with a heavy duty material. The one issue already identified by other reviewers is the press board insert for retaining the shape. This will clearly fall apart with just a little moisture. The manufacturer really should make this out of a plastic or some composite. I didn't even install it but used it as a pattern to cut a replacement from plywood.1174276

After one year the product has held up well. It looks like new after being exposed to the weather for the past 12 months. Recommend replacing the rigid board at the top with something more durable before installing

After a year we are still very happy with the dual tank propane cover. I did take out & paint the particle board insert after some warping. It works well curved shedding rain and snow and looks great!791462

So far this is worked really well, the only thing we had to do, the particle board that sits on the top of the tanks under the lid fell apart, all I have to do is take a thin piece of plywood and cut out new pieces other than that this is work great580450
