Hello, neighbors. Steven here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at the B&B RV fuel hatch with an oval back opening, and it is keyed and it's a polar white color. So folks, this is a nice, locking molded plastic hatch. It's gonna give you exterior access for a fuel fill or port. As I said, it's lockable.
The hatch flam secure to the exterior wall with the provided screws and the beetle tape. So you can see the screw holes there all the way around. Now if you're not familiar, one these screws are painted white to match. That's a nice feature. But beetle tape, if you've never used beetle tape, it's basically like a sticky kind of putty consistency.
And what it does is it gives you a nice watertight seal. So when you're installing this, after you've either just replacing this or making your own fresh cutout, you'll put that beetle tape down around covering those holes and you'll push this in place. And then whenever you install those screws through the front, you're actually going through the beetle tape and making a nice watertight hole. Now I've got this open, a few dimensions, the oval is six inches vertically and five inches horizontally, or I'm sorry, five vertical, six horizontal. Has a nice one year warranty on the whole product.
The collar depth here, I was getting 1 1/8 inches deep. Your cutout dimensions, I was getting 6 7/8 inches tall by 6 3/8 overall wide. Now the outside dimensions, overall 8.5 tall by eight wide. So again, folks, made here in the US of a nice UV stabilized plastic. It's not gonna fade, turn yellow and all that kind of stuff.
It does resist road corrosion like salts and water and that kind of stuff, dirt, debris. And you're gonna get the hatch door, the lock and key, the 10 screws and the beetle tape there.
