Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, I'm gonna take a look at the Westin textured black steel hood scoops with the LED flood beam lights for Jeeps. Now this is a custom fit part. It is designed to fit the 2018 and newer Jeep JL Wrangler and Wrangler Unlimited. Also fits the 2020 Jeep Gladiator. And because it fits so many different vehicles, I do want to recommend for you to go to our website, use the fit guide, put in your year and model vehicle, and it'll show you for the work for your application.

This is a nice, easy to install kit. Comes complete with the two steel LED vented hood scoops, all the gaskets you need, all the mounting brackets, the wiring harness with the switch, the installation hardware, and a nice set of detailed instructions that'll describe how this all goes together. It is a bolt on installation, there's no drilling required. And the scoops do replace the existing factory, non-functional scoops on your Jeep. Just wanted to pop-up an insert there and show you what these look like when they're installed, and you can see the lights on there.

Now, the vented hood scoops are fully functional. They do allow the hot air to escape from the engine bay. And these are built to last. The scoops are powder coated to have a nice, tough texture, black finish to them, and they are pretty heavy. They are constructed of a nice 14 gauge steel.

They do have an e-coated base coat to provide long lasting corrosion protection, and they do come with the gaskets, as we've mentioned to protect the paint surface. Just wanted to zoom in, give you a close-up of it. If you can see in each one, they do have the LED lights installed in the scoops, and this will offer a nice flood beam pattern to enhance visibility in inclement weather or darkness. It is six LEDs per light. Power output is 18 watts per light.

Light output is 1600 raw lumens, and they do use a dust and moisture resistant lens. Now I do have this one hooked up to some 12 volt power. So what I'm going to do is go ahead and turn them on just so you can see that one and you can see how those six LEDs light up very bright. Go ahead and turn off the overhead light. And you can see the other ones also will light up too. I just have this one hooked up just to give you an idea of how bright the light is. Go ahead and turn back on the overhead lights. Go ahead and turn off our power, but it does also come with this 14 foot long wiring harness that plugs in includes the connector, includes the relay, the inline fuses. And right here, it does include an on and off switch, allows you to turn on the lights or turn them off.
