Speaker 1: Today we're going to be taking a look at Aries line of 3" diameter round nerf bars. These 3" tube steps are going to make your vehicle look better, and they're going to make it easier to get in and out. These are particularly useful for small children getting in and out of the vehicle, or for other people that have a hard time getting in and out of the vehicle. If you have a lifted vehicle they can make it easier for anybody to get in.This is going to be a durable carbon steel, 3" diameter tube step. It's going to run from the front door, all the way to the back. So the both the front and back doors are going to make it easier for all your passengers. There will be foot pads located on each rail. They're made of a durable polypropylene and they've got ridges on them to help increase traction while getting in and out of your vehicle. Each tube step is going to be custom fit for your vehicle. It's going to come with a unique rail and brackets that will bolt right up and make a nice easy installation.Depending on your application you may have weld nuts you can bolt directly into, or there may be some existing holes for the hardware. You can get these in a polished stainless steel, or a black powder coat finish like the one we have here. Our customer Earl says, "Easy to install and made my daughters truck look great.
Plus it made it easier for her to climb into her truck." Here are some pictures from other customers as well.Unlike simple steps, tube steps provide a larger area for your feet. They also blend in more with the vehicle over steps, which tend to provide a more rugged look. The rounded curved look also sets them apart from flat and straight running boards. Running boards have a larger step area. Of the three options, it's a matter of personal style as to which you prefer.
If you have decided to go with tube steps, Aries and Westin make similar options. It may just come down to price and style as to which you prefer. And that completes our look at Aries line of 3" diameter round nerf bars.

Custom-fit, round nerf bars have wide, non-slip step pads that help you easily enter and exit your vehicle. Constructed of carbon steel with a black powder coat finish to resist chipping, peeling, and fading. Custom installation with mounting kit.Fit my 2016 duramax 2500 with def tank perfectly!
When the box arrived it was in pretty bad shape and I thought this was going to be a mess. After opening I saw everything was packed really well and there was zero damage. I bought these so my wife would be able to get in the truck with minimal effort and they made it easy for her. They look good and it would have only taken me about 30 min for each side if I didn't have a diesel DEF tank to get in the way. It took some effort but the job got done and they really look good. They are well built and I would definitely recommend them to others. The only issue I have is that it would have looked much better if the bolts nuts and washers were black also.
Installed on a 2015 Silverado Crew cab 4 full doors
4.5 stars bottom line throw the directions that come with kit away, cannot see pictures you need to see, go to site and print out,Read the directions and apply what you see and read, after i put the drivers side on the passenger side was much easier.I did not have a nice lift as pictured i laid on the ground on cardboard.
Put on all the brackets first and leave just snug tight, lay the nerf bar on the brackets, complete the drivers side first, put your bolts loosely in the nerf bar.
Tighten the brackets holding the nerf bars (4) to 11 ft pds using 13mm socket on a 3/8" drive ratchet.
When you use your factory mounts it is all going to be close to level
Check the level on the nerf bar (after you tightened the brackets that support the nerf bar) and tighten the bolts securing the nerf bar (after you eye it level or use an actual level) to 16 ft. pds using a 5/8"
12 point socket or 16mm. Seems to be well built for its purpose and the ones who do not like the shiny bolt heads showing on the black nerf bars,Paint them or liquid electrical tape them or undercoat them black. I had extra hardware so you have more than you need if something strips or rings off. Not stainless hardware for fastening, not USA made! Looks pretty good on my truck and definitely works for what it is designed for. Buy a set for your truck,i took the plunge and glad i did.

so far all is good no problems
Easy to install with no modifications and they hold up to the snow and salt of Minnesota winters.
They started rusting after 2 months. I plan to replace them now after having them on for a year....
These were a reasonable price, easy to install and have held up perfectly.
Fast shipping and very easy to install
