Weight Capacity of Nerf Bars for a 2017 Chevy Silverado 1500

What is the weight limit for these nerf bars. To be installed on 2017 chevy Silverado crew cab.

Determining the weight capacity for a set of nerf bars is somewhat of a tricky task. The weight capacity limit for a set of nerf bars is generally limited to the strength of the rocker panel they are attached to. This can make it difficult for manufacturers to rate their nerf bars for a specific capacity.

With that being said, Aries does not rate the Aries Round Nerf Bars part # AA204045 for a maximum weight capacity. For an option that does list a maximum weight capacity, I recommend the DeeZee Oval Tube Steps w Custom Installation Kit part # DZ16121-16317. These nerf bars are rated at 350 lbs per side.
