AJ What's up everybody It's AJ with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna be checking out these weather tech mud flaps. Now we're gonna be putting 'em on a 2022 Ram 2,500. Let's check 'em out. Takin' a closer look at the mud flap here, it's gonna be great for keeping that gravel or dirt or whatever your tires are kicking up from hitting the bottom of your truck and ruining that. It goes on here really easy, you see it's custom fit to fit your vehicle.
It goes on over the trim here, so it really looks good. It looks factory, like it's supposed to be there. It's also sturdy molded plastic, you see, it's not just a flimsy flap, that goes back and forth in the wind, so it can hold up, to bigger rocks and dirt. Now we talked about what they are and what they do, they're not too bad to install, it's just a couple screws. Follow and see how I did it.
We're gonna start up with the front mud flap on the driver's side. Now they're all marked, so you just look here. It's gonna have LH for left hand, that's gonna be the driver's side. All we have to do is remove these two hex head bolts, so I got my ratchet here, gonna loosen those up and we're just pulling the bolts out. So don't remove the plastic piece behind.
We got one here at the bottom, and there'll be one a little further up top. We'll take both of those out. With those outta the way, we can put our new mud flap in place. You see it already has a section that's a cutout, that's gonna go around this plastic piece, and clip in. We're gonna set a place right there, if you come along to the backside you can see how it fits the groove perfectly, right there.
There's also a clip on the underside, they wanna clip on the fascia. So I'm gonna push from the inside out, to get this tab to go up, and around this portion, as we slide it up. So, I guess you could use a screwdriver if you want, to pry out a little bit more, but you don't wanna pry it too much, so it doesn't grab on there. There you go, slid up into place. Then we'll replace our hex head screws. Now once we got both of these tightened down, you do the same thing on the passenger side. Overall, like I said, not too bad to get installed, you just had to remove the hex head screws, replace this. It fit right over the existing trim here, so that's pretty easy. Flaps are constructed of durable thermoplastic resin with stainless steel fasteners.Package was delivered. Box was damaged and all taped back together.It looks like it was damaged in freight. Mud flaps were in the box, but nothing else. No hardware kit or instructions. I will make them work, but not as described.
The problem is getting items delivered in one piece.
The weather tech mudguards arrived promptly, were easy to install and provided a clean look on my Ram 3500. Again weather tech delivered a quality product.
Product showed up two days before it was supposed to install that in three minutes great product etrailer great place to shop will recommend and use again thank you very much
Have had them for a year now they have been through mud and heavy winter! They protect the truck as they should very happy with them!!! Very easy installation also highly recommend these to anyone!!
Weather Tech makes excellent parts. The fit and finish is top notch
The product fits perfect. Two screws off and put them back with the flaps. Just make sure you order the right ones. There is a set for a Ram with trim on wheel well and those are different.
They fit perfectly, just as advertised.

Did not fit well on the 2022 Dodge Ram 3500. The rear flaps did not quite fit the OEM fender flares on the vehicle. Too tight - not enough clearance to sit nicely against the flares. There was also no hole for the trim fastener so had to drill a 1/4" hole for little plastic fastener - not a big deal. Hoping the front ones fit better, but they were worse. Same story - the "digital fit" flaps did not fit the OEM fender flares. Tried a heat gun to hopefully warm the flap and maybe get them to fit together better, but couldn't quite get it. I'll need to get some longer fasteners, otherwise one bolt and the little plastic tab are all thats holding it on. Maybe if the weather warms a bit...? Def not as advertised.
Delivery was quick. The mudflaps were very easy to install it took me about 15 minutes. Extremely happy with the way they look and no more rocks and debris flying up from my tires. Definitely recommend.

These mud flaps are great! Good Instructions and install went quickly. They look really good and should perform well, protecting the rocker panels and the side steps from mud and stones. Very pricey but good quality. Front Pair.
holes did not line up with pre existing holes on car
for installation. Very hard
to install. will NOT buy weathertec again
Look great! Look OEM. Wish all the hardware was black. And in the front the two screws you pull out both sides, trash go get something a little longer and more girth. etrailer was great the arrived earlier then expected.
Took a little effort to get it to match up with the plastic wheel well fender flares but once I did I have not had any issues. Looks somewhat subtle but is pretty effective at stopping thrown debris onto the paint.
I was apprehensive about buying these as the weather tech company said they would not fit. My vehicle has power running boards and 22” wheels..I researched forums and took a chance. They fit…no problem. See attached photos and video.

For someone who is "old school" and reluctant to install plastic onto a machine, I'm impressed with the ease of installation and durability so far. I've put about 7500 miles on them without an issue. And thanks to Etrailer for carrying great products and providing great info to consumers. You folks have a great Business model!
Just like the description says...easy install, no drill, digital fit. Looks like they came with the truck. Highly recommend.

These mudflaps do not come with hardware. You will have to pull the mud flap up from the bottom against the fender and rotate the QuickTurn™ fastener with the a hex key. The fastener will rotate to the lock position and stop. Continue turning to tighten the MudFlap onto the fender.
