Today, we're taking a look at the Furrion marine power cord adapter. Now, this pigtail adapter attaches to your boat's 30 amp inlet to get a plug for attaching a standard 30 amp extension cord. On the female end, we have the 90-degree connector design, which is designed to reduce the amount of strain placed on the cord and allows for easier connection in tight spaces. We also have here on the male connector, you'll notice the Furrion logo right there. Right next to it, we have the power smart LED indicator, which indicates when power is present and active. Then on the female end, we have the pull smart handle which allows you to safely disconnect, and the male plugin has side grips for easy user friendly connection. This is a heavy duty marine grade construction.
It's a universal fit with other brands. It's black in color. We have a nice thermo plastic vinyl insulation, and the plugs are made to NEMA standards. When it comes to the amperage, we're looking at the 30 amp design, so female 30 amps, male 30 amps. Voltage is 125 volts. All internal wires are 10 gauge wires, and the measurement I got when I took a measurement of just this area here, this measures about 12 inches, and then from the end to the end of the plug, not including the prongs, measured around 22 inches long.
That gives you an idea of the length of the unit. That's going to do it for today's look at the Furrion marine power cord adapter.
