Today we're going to be taking a look at the Mighty Cord Dog Bone Style RV Adapter Cord. This is a 30 amp male to 30 amp female, it's a 125 volt electrical adapter. It's going to measure 12 inches long and this is for use in adapting 30 amp power for use with 30 amp RVs. On this end we're going to have the female receptacle. It's got the threaded locking ring that makes hooking up the RV to the campground power easy, quick and convent. This female portion would connect to the RV receptacle, a lot of newer RVs are being equipped with receptacles or connection points just like this one and then the locking ring threads on to the locking connector on the RV and that provides a very tight, secure connection and really prevents accidental disconnecting. On the male end, 3 prong design and it's got a finger tab or finger grip for easy connecting and disconnecting. This would connect to a power-cord that would then run to the receptacle for power at the campground.
This is a heavy duty cable that's designed for outdoor use. Again 3 wire design, nice thick coating over the wire so they're safe and protected. All the wires are going to be gauge 10 wires.
