Hi everyone! It's Evangeline here at E-trailer and today we are looking at our Coughlan's laundry bag here at E-trailer. So as you are traveling on the road, whether you're camping, you're in your RV, or you just live in an apartment like I do, you're going to need a bag for your laundry as you wash it. So this is a natural cotton bag. It's large, really easy to use. Just put your laundry inside. My favorite thing about it is how the bag itself is also washable, that way you can make sure both your clothes and the bag that carries them is clean.

So this is a 22 by 36 bag. So as you can see, I can probably fit into this bag, which means you can fit a good amount of sheets, towels, and clothes inside of it. So let's get a look at how it's made. So we have this thin cotton material, I think it is on the sturdier side, even though it does look like it's kind of thin. As for how it's sewn, it's a basic stitch right over here.

It is double hemmed, so I like that because then it's not going to fray, but it is nice and simple. Kind of like how a pillowcase is constructed with one opening on the top. That opening is secured by this draw string. So when you open it, it opens all the way and then he can pull it shut and also uses this cord faster. So it's the same kind of cord lock that you can see on other drawstring bags.

Once you release that lever, it closes upon that cord and keeps that in place. Now I use this laundry bag as I was giving a demonstration on how to wash your clothes with our E-trailer products. Let's take a look at that process. So I have right here, our Coughlin's laundry bag, that's what I am using to store our laundry. So we'll just get our clothes and our towels right out of here.

Now I like to use bar soap, but you can really use any laundry detergent. Just add that to your water and make sure it's soapy, before you add your clothes. Then submerge your clothes or whatever you're washing into that soapy water, and I do recommend scrubbing them just to get all that dirt out. So once you have all your clothes scrubbed and you got all the dirt out of them, we're then going to switch our water with clean water so that we can rinse them. You're then going to submerge your soapy clothes into the nice rinse water. And just rinse that around, scrub that around until the water is clear, you may have to refresh your water every now and then just to make sure it's still a rinse water, but once that's all done, let's start ringing it out. Now, depending on your clothes, if you have something that wrinkles easily, I do not recommend wringing it, but if you needed this to dry very quickly, then just ring it out until as much of the water is out there. And then just hang it up. With this dried out as much as we can get it by hand, let's now put it on our clothes line. So we're using Coughlin's clothes pins right over here. Those are already attached to our clothesline. So let's just hang this up. Don't forget to pin it into place with these clothes pins, that way they don't fly off when a gust of wind goes by. So we're just going to leave these hanging up here for a little bit. It's really, really hot and dry outside, so I don't expect the dry time to take too long. And let's take a look at this when it's dry again. All right, and we are back. This has been out here for an hour and now our shirts are mostly dry. The things that are in the back are still kind of damp, but I'm pretty sure it's going to be really dry after another hour. So very quick, very easy. And it's nice to see how it even smells fresh and sunny. So my final thoughts about this laundry bag is it is really a nice and simple laundry bag. I personally, I also use a washable laundry bag, but that has a strap that goes from the top to the bottom so that I can carry it like a backpack that way, since it is so large, it does get heavy really quickly. You may have some issues with carrying this like a sack, but for something quick and easy to add onto your cart of all of your other things that you need for when you RV or when you camp, I think this is a pretty good addition.
