Hello, neighbors. Steve here with etrailer.com. Folks, today we're looking at our MORryde Heavy-Duty Spare Tire Carrier for the Jeep Wrangler JL. So folks, again, make sure you check your fit guide here at etrailer.com. Make sure you're getting the right parts for your specific year, make and model. Now with this heavy-duty carrier, it is gonna let you carry an oversized spare tire on the back of your Jeep, and it's gonna upgrade your factory spare tire carrier as well.
It is adjustable. Mounted, it's gonna keep the third brake light visible, and the camera housing will accept your existing camera as well. It is designed to be used with the MORryde Tailgate Reinforcement Kit and the heavy-duty hinges, that's all sold separately. I'll throw those item numbers up there on the screen, you can get a kit with those heavy-duty hinges and that Reinforcement Kit. It is made of a nice, rugged black powder coated steel.
It's gonna stand up to the elements. It's a very simple bolt-on installation. You have the included hardware here for mounting the final piece up here and everything. And it's simple to install. Like I mentioned, you simply use the factory hardware that you have already on your Jeep and you remove the factory spare tire carrier and you replace it with the heavy-duty carrier right here.
Made in the USA, it's gonna accommodate spare tires between 37 and 40 inches in diameter. The whole thing is super lightweight. They're basically saying it weighs about 20 pounds, and it is a nice one-year warranty overall.
