Today we're going to review part number AUT2-MAZ2-C. This is the automotive gold Mazda trailer hitch cover for inch and a quarter hitches. It is a stainless steel construction with a chrome finish. This is an officially licensed Mazda logo hitch cover. It will slide into your one and a quarter inch hitch receiver. The nice thing about it, besides looking good, it helps keep out any dirt and prevent any rust. It is a 3D, ABS plastic emblem that pops out and helps really make this look good.
It is a chrome plating that adds a classic style. This emblem is attached to a polished, stainless steel base and gives a mirror like shine. Helps resist rust and corrosion. It is a one piece riveted construction. There is no assembly required. The hitch pin and clip our the hitch lock is sold separately or if you have one, you could use yours.
You can see it does drilled for multiple holes so you can slide it in your hitch and line the correct hole up. This part is made in the USA. Again, the application on this is for an inch and a quarter by inch and a quarter hitch receiver. It does have a life time warranty. I purchased this a year ago. The cutouts allow for multiple insert depths and optimal mounting variations. I was concerned about a vibration between the insert and receiver so I installed a rubber seal between the two that allowed for a firm connection and no rattles. No rust or fading (Midwest location) so it has been thru all of the seasons and salt looking good.
Excellent choice! Compliments my truck nicely. This is actually the second time I have bought this same hitch cover. You know it has to be good to buy it twice!

One wonders why all covers made for 1 1/4" with and adapter for 2" so there would be no need for 2 sizes. I attached it to my E Trailer hitch on my Corvette. Yes a tow hitch on a Corvette for bike rack.
This is the second time I have purchased a trailer hitch from this company. I only had to replace this product because I was rear ended a few weeks ago by another driver. The tow bar took all the damage and while it had to be replaced, it protected the back of my jeep from further impact.

I had a cheap rubber cover but it either blew off in the wash or got stolen. With a locking pin this one should stay put. Makes a nice little enhancement to my vehicle and shows pride in having served our country. Glad it arrived in time for display this "Veterans Day".
