So, this hitch cover is a great way to protect your receiver, and express yourself all in one.
So, active personnel and veterans alike can protect their trailer hitch receivers with this army hitch cover. This does use the official seal of the United States Army. It has a black, gold, and white detail, which is outlined in a gold finish ABS plastic. The vinyl coating will protect the detail from water, chemicals, and UV rays. The base its on is a polished, stainless steel base, gives a nice mirror like shine, and resists rust and corrosion.
It is a one piece riveted construction. There's no assembly required.This does require a 5/8" diameter hitch pinning clip, or hitch lock to hold this cover into your receiver. We do sell those items separately on our website, and are usually listed on this product page as a related product. This part is made in the U.S.A., and again, the application is for 2" by 2" trailer hitch receivers. And the diameter on the hitch cover face is right at 4".

Is as pictured, my husband loves it. As a Veteran, he liked that the emblem was spot on with the Army badges he has.
I purchased this a year ago. The cutouts allow for multiple insert depths and optimal mounting variations. I was concerned about a vibration between the insert and receiver so I installed a rubber seal between the two that allowed for a firm connection and no rattles. No rust or fading (Midwest location) so it has been thru all of the seasons and salt looking good.
Excellent choice! Compliments my truck nicely. This is actually the second time I have bought this same hitch cover. You know it has to be good to buy it twice!

One wonders why all covers made for 1 1/4" with and adapter for 2" so there would be no need for 2 sizes. I attached it to my E Trailer hitch on my Corvette. Yes a tow hitch on a Corvette for bike rack.
This is the second time I have purchased a trailer hitch from this company. I only had to replace this product because I was rear ended a few weeks ago by another driver. The tow bar took all the damage and while it had to be replaced, it protected the back of my jeep from further impact.

The cover really dresses up the back hitch and makes a huge improvement on aesthetics.
One year later, and surviving winter driving with salt and sand, the cover still looks brand new.

I had a cheap rubber cover but it either blew off in the wash or got stolen. With a locking pin this one should stay put. Makes a nice little enhancement to my vehicle and shows pride in having served our country. Glad it arrived in time for display this "Veterans Day".

Excellent quality. Looks like new one-year later. Highly recommended. You can see in photo the mirror like shine as it reflects the concrete below and the grass beside my driveway. Looks cool.
