As most DIYers know, the process of removing old oil from your car can be a hassle. Getting at the drain plug on the oil pan - even if you have your vehicle raised - is a real pain. Not to mention it's time consuming, messy, and potentially dangerous to be messing around underneath your car. It might be such a hassle that you no longer even bother and instead spend money to take your car to a shop for an oil change. But with this dual-action pump, you can easily change your oil on your own, saving you time and money.
To clear out your old, nasty oil, simply take the pump's intake hose and place it into your dipstick tube. Then place the outtake hose into a proper receptacle designed to contain oil. Pull the piston in and out to initiate the oil transfer. With every pump, oil will be sucked in through the intake hose and pushed out through the outtake hose seamlessly. Simply stop pumping to cease the transfer of oil.

Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a quick look at this dual action oil transfer pump. This is gonna let you change the oil in your car, boat, tractor, generator, or other equipment without having to get under the vehicle and lift a heavy container. This is going to allow you to draw in and pump out oil with the manual piston here with every stroke. So you'll pull the piston and then in and out to pump that oil from one location to another. This does have a steel barrel that's going to be able to handle various viscous oils.
It's gonna be compatible with your engine oil, hydraulic fluid, fuel oil, mineral oil, synthetic and bio oil. It should not be used with other fluids, just those oils. But this is 12 inches tall. It's got a 16-ounce capacity. Our manual piston here is going to go from 2 3/4 of an inch out to 11 inches long.
Now, they recommend not using this when dry, so I'm not gonna pull that out to demonstrate, but it is a very simple process to pump that fluid through there. You're going to have a die cast aluminum head unit here that's going to provide the transfer ports so that you can get your hoses connected to it. You're gonna get two of these four-foot-long vinyl hoses as well as one 40 1/2-inch-long dipstick hole adapter that's going to allow you to extract oil from the top of your engine instead of using the drain plug under the vehicle so that you can pump that oil out before you put some fresh oil in. Now, this is powder-coated to help prevent wear and tear so it will hold up well for a long time to come. So if you are looking for an easier way to transfer that oil from one location to another so that you can switch out your oil in your tractor, vehicle, or other application, this is gonna do a great job for you.
That completes our look for today. Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Thanks for watching..
