Today we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to use the flow tool grip tech. This is a set of three position adjustable oil filter pliers. The part number is FT-10627GT. Now our flow tool filter pliers are an excellent solution for those hard to get to oil filters that might be located in those tighter spaces that we can't get a band-style or the wrench-style in there and get to it. You can see we've got a nice long handle that allows us to reach in further and get a hold of the filter. You see the rubber-coated arms here. These are going to get a firm grip.
You see we've got three raised points of contact. As we squeeze we don't have to worry about clamping into the filter itself. Just going to get a firm hold and allow us to remove that filter. You see these are a three-position style pliers. We'll have three different pivot points there that we can choose to best match our filter. Now these are going to be designed for the smaller filters, all the way down to 2-1/2 inches, for our smaller engines or smaller filters on the cars.
All the way up to 4-1/4. This is going to give us a very wide range. This could be an easy all in one solution for all your filter changing needs. You've got the nice rubber coating not only here where we're going to grab our filter but also on our handles. We're not going to have to worry about slipping when our hands get all covered with oil.
They're made of a nice heavy-duty steel. That way they're not going to bend; they're not going to wear out over time. Once you purchase these, these going to last a good long time and you're not going to have to worry about replacing them anytime soon. Now the thing I really like about the filter pliers or the flyer style filters like the ones from Flow Tool is that they allow us to get in these tighter spaces where otherwise we'd need some other form of specialty to get in there. They're really nice and narrow. They're going to allow us to get in there, grab a hold of that filter and loosen it right up.
Once we've got it started, we'll just remove it by hand. That's going to complete our look at the Flow Tool grip tech three position adjustable oil filter pliers. Part Number FT-10627GT.

Changing your oil just got easier with these handy pliers. Pliers can be moved into 3 positions to grab onto your oil filter.Contemplated for a few weeks what Sewer Hose to go with and I'm a green newbie to RV life so it takes me a little longer. Went with a brand that I found difficult to connect the ends to and to pull apart too. Oh Dear. They make a wrench system for some brands but not the one I bought of course. E-trailer to the rescue just as I was debating my options they sent out an email directing me to these pliers. And sure enough there are a number of reviews saying these work on that brand of sewer hose. Thanks again Etrailer for your help and insight.
Purchased this for use on the valterra drain cap on my camper.
etrailer response was great, product works perfectly.
I ordered this to help me remove the sewage discharge cap on my RV -- and it does exactly that, with ease! A great assist!
Better than using my hands or a strap wrench to get my sticking cap of the holding tank drain. Still not easy. The makers of these caps should make an effective wrench.
I use these for disconnecting tight rv sewer twist connections. My grip is not what it used to be, so I appreciate the confidence they offer.
I purchased this tool to open the cap on the waste line on my rv trailer. It sometimes gets stuck in the closed position and I cannot open it without mechanical help. This tool does the job and solves the serious problem of emptying the waste tank on my rv.
Purchased the Griptech to use on my sewer hode hook up on my fifth wheel when camping. Perfect.
Can't tell you how much easier this will make a "dirty" job. Outlet cap can be easily remove with minimal effort.
Quality tool in both feel and appearance and eTrailer sells it at a reasonable price.
Excellent product. Well made. I own two pair.
Nice product...exactly as described.
Simple to purchase, Fast delivery, quality product!
Got tired of using a filter wrench with no grip to remove tight oil filters. This should take care of the problem for me and is of much better quality than the filter wrench I have thrown away to get it out of my life.
Description says 2 3/4 “ to 4+” does not come close to 2 3/4” more like 3” Not Happy
VERY NICE PRODUCT. QUALITY
Good quality, works great

A year? Wow, I have had these pliers and have used them several times to remve the cap from the sewer discharge on our RV. Make a messy job so much easier and has come in handy for other RVers lined up at a dump station. No more struggles=Happy Camper.
