Michael: Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at this portable oil extraction pump. This is a compact, lightweight pump that it is going to be extremely easy to take along with you and to use to extract oil. This will connect very simply to your car's battery. So just the clamps here, connect positive to positive, negative to negative, and then you'll insert your suction probe into your dip stick tube.
Then you'll insert your drain hose to your used oil container. Turn it on with the button here on the top, and it will draw the power from your battery and pump the oil out of your car, motorcycle, RV boat, basically anything that uses motor oil, diesel, or heating oil. You do not want to use this to try and pump water, gearbox oil, or any fluids that are going to be easily ignited such as fuel, petrol, and those sort of things. This does have an approximate speed of 1,400 revolutions per minute. So that's going to give you about three quarts of motor oil per minute, or one gallon of diesel per minute.
So it's going to do a good job, very easy to get connected. This kit is going to include the pump as well as your four foot by six millimeter diameter inlet hose here. This does have a six millimeter diameter. So you want to make sure that your dip stick tube is going to be at least six millimeters so you can slide this in there. And we're also going to get a five foot by half inch diameter outlet hose. They do also include the hose clamps here to make sure that these are going to stay in place as you're pumping, and when you're hooking this up, you can see the sticker on the bottom does have a diagram to show you which direction that oil is going to be flowing, so you can make sure that you're hooking things up in the right orientation.Overall, I think you're going to be very happy with this.
Very easy way to take along a pump with you. So whether you are needing to do some oil changes out on the road, or just want have a backup there in your car, very easy to store under your seat or something like that. So very nice, compact option to pump out some oil.So that's going to complete our look for today. Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Thanks for watching..
