Quickly and easily install a 5-way trailer connector on your vehicle with this custom harness. The T-connector plugs directly into your existing wiring - no cutting, splicing or tapping required. Ideal for towing a trailer with surge brakes.

Installation
This custom-fit T-connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located behind the driver's-side and passenger's-side tail lights. You will have to remove the tail light assemblies to access this harness.
Once installation is complete, the 5-way flat connector will be stowed beneath your vehicle, near the trailer hitch. A mounting bracket (sold separately) is recommended to keep the connector secure.
It is recommended that you use a small amount of grease on all electrical connections - the plugs on your automobile and the 5-pole connector itself - to help prevent corrosion.

Would have liked to seen shrink tubing over ground connector...

After using the wiring harness for a year I only have one complaint, the ground pin on the plug broke off. It hasnt effected the operation of the light.

I purchased a Class III, heavier duty 2" receiver hitch (675lb tongue wt rating) to replace the factory 1-1/4" and a 5-flat, factory wiring t-connector kit. Both fit flawlessly with very good instructions, looked like great quality and had a great price. I ordered on-line on a Sunday and had conformation that the order had shipped before 7:00am Monday! Excellent buying experience and product. I would buy again and recommend to others.

Easy install with wiring harness, hooked right up by plugging in connections and running wire. I used your online video's for how to do it. I am not a mechanic, just determined to save money and I am a 69 year old retired person.
