Hey everybody, I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com where we're taking a quick look at the GSI Outdoors Folding Frying Pan. This is going to be a steel construction or it is steel construction, with a foldable handle so it should save you some space whether you're car camping or an RVer or you just wanna save some space in your kitchen, anywhere. Should be a pretty nice addition to any kitchen. It's kinda a good in between size. It's about a 10 inch diameter. So, let's take a closer look and talk a little bit more about the specs to make sure that this is the right fit for you.
So again, that handle just easily folds away and pops back out and stays nice and secure whenever you're actually using it. The only time when it might flip over is if you actually flip the pan over but at that point you're probably not actually cooking. As far, again, as the measurements so. the actual diameter of the pan is about 9 1/2 inches. If we go to the edge of the handle it's about 17 1/2 maybe 17 5/8, if you wanna get technical.
With the handle folded in it's about right at 10 inches to where the tops of that little metal pieces, kinda the knees of it, I guess you'd say. It weighs about a pound and a 1/4. So, 18 ounces, a little bit more than. almost 19 ounces, actually. As far as the depth of the pan it's...
about two inches, maybe a little bit more than two inches. So, it should be good for just about any kind of frying, sauting, all kinds of stuff. Great for omelets, you know, cooking up a mess of sausage gravy for sausage and biscuits or anything like that that you might be wanting to do in your kitchen and many more things.
