Jeff: Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a look at this GSI Outdoors, 10-inch, two-quart aluminum Dutch oven.Now, this Dutch oven is great for campers and backpackers who need superior heat to cook beef stew, chili, fried chicken, or other tasty food. This Dutch oven is made from a durable high conductive cast aluminum, heats up very quickly and evenly, and it won't rust. So it can go places where cast-iron can't, plus it weighs a lot less than the cast-iron.The Dutch oven will cook with radiant heat. So they work best with charcoal or coals underneath as well as heaped on the lid here. If you notice on the lid itself, it has this nice deep edge lip on it, and that'll hold the coals of the charcoal in place for oven-like cooking.

The lid itself will seal tight and distribute heat evenly while cooking and the handles, you can see, they conveniently fold to the sides for compact storage and when you go to carry, you just raise them up, carry it like that. You can see on the inside, has a nice clean finish.Few specs on this, the diameter, which we'll measure from here to here, that's going to be right at 10". Overall height from the bottom to the very top of the lid, it's about 3 1/2". Just to give you a measurement on the inside, from the bottom to the top is about 3". Total weight on this is about 3 1/2 pounds.
