Today, we'll be taking a quick look at the gear up oakrak solo wall-hanging bike storage rack in sedona red, part number GU20090R. This American oak-made bike rack is a great way to store one bike on the wall in your home, studio apartment or maybe even your garage. It has a sedona red stain that's going to help complement most interiors. You can see the three pegs on the rack. Those pegs are designed to hold other gears such as helmets, gloves, goggles, maybe if you have a hydration pack or a backpack that you carry when you're going down on the trails. Basically, a one-stop shop for your bicycle and all your gear. Now the way that these cradle arms are designed, they are fixed, meaning they don't move independently.
They stay in basically one position. Since that they are designed that way, this rack is mainly designed for straight-framed or a road bike framed bicycles. Now because these cradles here are made out of wood and where you're going to be placing your bike, there's not going to be any gib. I'm going to give you this measurement just to have the distance between the top outermost part of the cradle here, about 1-3/4 of an inch. Basically, depending on if you have a wider frame, you just want to have that measurement, just in case. When assembled, this rack is 18-inches wide by 5-inches tall by 16-inches deep, has a weight capacity of 40 pounds and comes with a limited lifetime warranty.
Now we'll go ahead with the installation. Now we went ahead and did some pilot holes here on our wall just to make the screws go on a little bit easier so that we don't put any stress on the actual rack. Just start one of the screws through one corner of the rack, place it into the pilot hole and then just get it started just to help and hold it in place and then we can go to the other side. Now that we got our screws in place and everything is all secured, they do provide these little caps to plug up these holes to give you a nice finish look. Now we'll go ahead and load up the bike, and then we can go ahead and use the pegs for any of our other gear. Now that our bike and our gear are all hung up and put away, that will complete today's review of the gear up oakrak solo wall mounted bike storage rack in sedona red, part number GU20090R.
