How Can I Carry My 50lb Child On My GT Aggressor
Question:
My daughter is 4.5yrs old and about 53lbs. My husband is riding a GT pro aggressor. What seat/cart do you recommend?

Expert Reply:
We do not offer a child bike seat that is rated to carry anyone heavier than 48.5lbs. So you have two choices, you can transport your child in a trailer or on a trail -a- bike. Either option should be able to work with your GT Pro Aggressor without any problems.
If you want your daughter to have a more passive riding experience, a trailer is the way to go. The Thule Cadence Bike Trailer - 2 Child - Green, part # TH10101802. it is a two child carrier that can be setup for one child. It has plenty of inside storage for your daughter's play things. This carrier has a weight limit of 100bs. It comes with reflectors and a safety flag and it has a built in rain cover. This bike trailer's aluminum roll cage protects the child in case of an accident.
If this solution does not work, you might look into trail -a- bike options. This solution depends on whether your daughter is already riding a bike, with or without training wheels. Your daughter will have a more active riding experience with this option. She will not be protected by a roll cage, she will have to hold on to her handlebars, but she will not have to pedal while she is on the bike.
