Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this NOCO genius Pro 25 amp battery charger. This is going to be a compact, smart charger that will plug right into your wall outlet and then it will convert your a AC power coming from your wall outlet into DC power that can quickly charge and maintain your battery. This is gonna be perfect for charging a car, a motorcycle lawnmowers, ATVs, tractors, trucks, SUVs or boats. It's gonna be very versatile for you and is going to with your six volt in 12 volt batteries up to 1000 amp hours, as well as your 24 volt batteries up to 500 amp hours.

This will work with Wet Cell, Gel Cell, Enhanced Flooded, Calcium Maintenance-Free, AGM and Lithium-Ion batteries. If you do have a Lithium-Ion battery it will need to have a battery management system on it to work with this but this is gonna have multiple profiles here that will allow you to charge a variety of battery types at different voltages. So you can see we've got our six vol mode down here. So we've got our normal, our AGM, our Lithium-Ion and then our six volt repair down here might be a little bit easier if I bring this closer to you. So you can see that a little bit better.

You can see how that's labeled there. And so then we also have our 12 volt normal, AGM and Lithium and then our 12 volt repair as well as our 24 volt there, our 24 volt AGM, Lithium-Ion and repair down here. We also have our 12 volt and 24 volt supply modes that will provide power to run a compatible accessory, as well as our a five amp mode that supplies a low current ideal for your smaller batteries or maintenance charging. You also have a force mode. That's gonna provide a constant charge to revive your dead batteries.

Very simple operation with our mode button here. That's going to allow us to flip through and see what those LED indicators where we're at, which mode we're in. This does also have an auto memory feature. That's gonna remember your last charge mode if the power is lost. So it will jump right back into that mode for you.

This does have a multistage charging algorithm that is going to charge twice as fast as your traditional chargers without overcharging your battery. So it's going to analyze your batteries condition and then provide a customized charge to meet that. It does have a maximum charging amperage of 25 amps and it does have a built-in battery desolate that's going to help restore lost battery capacity. So we'll do a really good job for you taking care of your batteries. It has this durable resin housing. That's gonna be very rugged and water resistant so it will be perfect for onboard or off board applications. As far as our dimensions go, we're looking at right at nine and five sixteenths of an inch long by approximately five and we'll call it five and one eighth of an inch wide and about three inches thick. It only weighs about 2.7 pounds or just a little under three pounds. So it is gonna be pretty lightweight. They do include a couple of screws here. So if you wanted to get this mounted into a fixed position you could mount that pretty easily and then we're also going to have our battery clamps here. So very easy to just plug this in to the side here. So, and then that is going to give us our output so we can connect to our battery. These battery clamps do have a precision needle nose design. So they are going to fit into the those tight spaces to make sure that you can get connected to your battery. They are a spark proof design as well and have reverse polarity protection. They also have these bolts here that you can unscrew and then that gives you an eye eyelet there so that you can get that permanently mounted onto your battery if you prefer that over the clamp style. So you can use that this cable is five and a half feet long. So it's gonna give us quite a bit of reach there. We're also gonna have a built in 35 amp fuse that's gonna help protect your electronics from dangerous overloads. Then on our AC side will have a 72 inch or approximately six foot long AC cable here that will plug into your wall and then plug into this port and that's going to give us the power from our wall into our unit. Now they do provide several different options here. So depending on location, you've got the US type plug. You've got your UK plug, your Australian plug and your European plug. So even if you're traveling, you'll have several options to use, but nice have those available for us. If we are in other countries using those hookups. And then we're also going to have this 10 foot long extension cord. So that's gonna give us even more room to hook up to our battery clamps. So if we're needing extra distance depending on where we have this mounted or stored we're needing to reach out further we are gonna get that 10 foot extension cord. And then we also have this durable rubberized EV a exterior protective case that will allow us to store everything away. It's kind of got a molded interior with kind of a velvety liner here. So we'll help to protect our components also has a zipper pocket up here at the top so we can store everything thing away keep it all organized til we need it. So really nice to have this available it's gonna help protect a battery charger from moisture, dust and impacts so that we don't have to worry about damaging it. We're out and about. It's got a carry handle here as well. So very easy to store this away, take it out when we need it and get our batteries charged up.
