Jeff: Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a look at this auto fuse kit with the tester, and this is a 112 piece kit. Now this 112 piece fuse assortment will contain the most popular standard and mini size automotive and Marine blade fuses. These fuses do feature the silver plated blades and the industry standard color coating to indicate the amperage rating. Now on this side here, we'll have the standard blade type fuse sizes, it'll give you eight of each of the six different sizes.
So basically right here in this box, we'll have the 5 amp orange size. Up here, the 10 amp red size. Down here, the 15 amp blue size, the 20 amp yellow size, 25 amp clear size and the 30 amp green. And those are all the standard blade type sizes. If we flip it over to the other side, this will carry all the mini sizes, which are known as the APM or ATM sizes. And again, it gives you eight of each size.
So down here, it has the 5 amp orange, the 10 amp red, 15 amp blue, the 20 amp yellow, 25 amp clear, the 30 amp green, and in the mini sizes, they do offer two smaller sizes, the 3 amp brown and the seven and a half amp purple size. We mentioned the tester, let's open the lid here. The tester right here. This is a four and one, LED automotive fuse tester. This is all included, has the adjustable pins on the bottom here for testing the mini, the standard and the maxi size fuses.
Basically when you use those two pins and touch the fuse, it'll tell you if they are good. The LED right here will illuminate. So basically on these standard, like we have a standard size fuse here. So if we flip it over right now, it's in the mini size.So if we move that over to the middle, it'll click into place, that's your standard size. So if we took one of these fuses and when it was installed, if we would just touch both of the tips right there to it, you'll be able to tell, actually we would do it this way, so you can see.
When you touch the two, if that light came on, that means the fuse is good. If it didn't, that means the fuse is broken, need to be replaced. And again, if you wanted to test the mini, if we flip it over and we pop open and took a mini out, the mini what you would do, is just move this back and it'll give you the correct distance between the two.So again, you would do the same when it's installed, just touch the very top, the two metal portions and it'll test the mini fuse, and it would do the same thing. When you touch them, there you can see the lights light up, it means the fuse is good. Now they even give you a setting, if you move it all the way this way, to the wider portion, that'll give you the maxi size fuses, you can even test with this. And also using this, you can pull the fuse. So to replace a fuse, you can use this opposite end right here. To unclip, push it on the fuse and safely remove the fuse just like that.As you notice, this is in a nice, convenient two-sided flip case here, with the clear lids that you can see right away, the desired fuse, where it's located. So in other words, you flip up this side, we put our tester back, flip it down. If you need to get to the other side, you flip it open and access that. And also on the very end, it has this nice peg hook hanger tab that can be pulled out if you need to hang this at your work bench or anything. If you're not, you just push it flush in the case for compact storage. But that should do it for the review on the auto fuse kit with the tester, and it's a 112 piece kit.
