Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Valterra Awning Saver Clamps. They're available in white with part number A10253 and in gray, part number A10252. Enjoy your camping vacations a lot more without the worry of your awning tearing and the annoying flapping that may occur. The awning clamps easily attach to your RV's awning frame. They're going to work with most awning frames. They're sold in a pair.
Pick up as many as you'd like to further secure your awning. The awning clamps feature dimples on each pad to interlock for a tight hold on the awning fabric. They're made out of a durable plastic construction. Now that we've gone over the features, I'll go ahead and show you how to get them set up. I've already got my awning out an in place where I want it with one awning saver clamp installed. Let's go ahead and do the next one.
Here you can see there's quite a bit of flapping in our awning. Let's go ahead and get the clamp installed. You want to make sure the hardware is out of our clamps, and we want to make sure and sandwich the awning fabric between the rough side. We've got a couple different options that we can use to mount our clamps. We're going to use the furthest out. We'll set it in place onto our awning frame, and we'll take the bottom one and do just the same.
Then I'm just going to hold it together, and then run my hardware. We've got two different holes to run our hardware through. We're going to go with the one furthest from our awning. We'll drop that down through. We'll make sure it goes through the second clamp.
With my bolt through, I can now let go of the clamp. I'll take my flat washer, put that on bottom, followed by my wingnut. Before I tighten it down all the way, I'm going to pull on my awning to take out the slack, and then tighten it the rest of the way down. There we go. With it in place, as you can see, there's less flapping in our awning, and it's nice and secure. That's going to complete our look at the Valterra Awning Saver Clamps.
